| My boyfriend and I stayed here the first week of July and wow was it exactly what we needed. We live in Toronto with very busy lives and we never get a chance to just slow down. This little piece of heaven was exactly what we needed! We both have never felt so relaxed in our lives, we barely ever wanted to go out because the view from the cottage alone is just outstanding. When we got there the cottage was very clean and equipped with lots of kitchen supplies. The owners Duncan and Connie were amazing, although we didn't get to meet Connie. They were very kind and available when we needed them! Overall an incredible stay and we will definitely be back some day!
Thanks again!

| We had a very relaxing week at this cottage. On the days we chose to venture out we visited Black Duck Cove, Tor Bay beach, a few local general stores, where we found unique items, and beautiful scenic views along our drives. If you're looking for a relaxing area, this is ideal. Very satisfied with our choice in this cottage rental. Thank you Connie and Duncan!

| Good, timely communication by e-mail with hosts leading up to our stay. Arrived to find the cabin exceptionally clean and tidy. Hosts came almost immediately when we let them know the Wi-Fi was down and fixed the problem, and later delivered dry firewood after a rain, which we unfortunately weren't ultimately able to use because of high winds. Hosts made a great recommendation to visit Black Duck Cove nearby, which turned into a highlight day of our trip. We found them to be a great balance of being available but not intrusive.
Kitchen was nicely appointed with cookware staples and a small selection of dry goods. No range vent or light, so cooking area after dusk was a bit starved of light, but otherwise was fine to work in. Bathroom size was very generous for a cabin of this size. Water pressure was rather low, but not unworkably so - really only reared its head in showers, which just took a percentage longer than we're used to. We found the mattresses acceptable, though the bed frames in particular could have stood to be a bit more sturdy.
Large, well kept lawn with large firepit led down to a rocky beach which was comfortably walkable, though be aware we found the rocks to be incredibly slippery on a damp day. All in all this was a simple, comfortable, affordably priced cabin provided by very friendly people in a beautiful place. If we find ourselves back in the area, we would consider renting this cabin again.

| What a wonderful little cottage. Completely private, with your own waterfront greenspace perfect for games and activities. Loved that there was washer toss available and also kayaks! The cottage was super clean, had all the amenities..fridge, stove, fireplace and stand-up shower. We didn't have any internet service or cell service, however we didn't come there for those things. We came for the view and the privacy. We will be back!
