Beautiful secluded getaway on the shores of Moffat Lake. The cottage is set back from a very quiet road, located on 2.6 acres of land, offering lots of privacy among the windswept pine and cedars along the lakes beautiful granite shoreline. There is deep swimming off the main deck. Sitting at a large waters edge deck provides amazing views of Moffat Lake. The other side of the property offers a shallow entry for kids to play next to the floating dock. The cottage is fully equipped with all the amenities and comforts of home. Upstairs features Kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Downstairs features walkout Family Room, Second Kitchen, 2 Bedrooms and a bathroom. The cottage is tastefully decorated to incorporate fresh and new with old cottage charm. Multiple seating areas are featured inside and outside including two raise decks and a ground-level patio, all with a beautiful view of the water! The perfect family getaway! For additional water fun, two paddle boats and two canoes are included with rental. | Wow! Exceeded our expectations. We have rented several cottages and this was our favourite so far. Spacious and clean cottage, Accommodated 9 of us easily, ages 1 to 59. The beds are super comfy with nice comforters. It was nice having a second kitchen and family room downstairs to play games and hang out with the adults and older kids after the little ones went to bed . Loved the vinyl deck over the water for gathering in the sun. The glass railing worked well for our just walking granddaughter. There are stairs down to jump in the water or attach your floaty. Swimming was excellent with deep water off the big deck stairs and a small beach area by the lower dock for the little ones. The lake is very quiet, and we loved the canoe and pedal boat. No complaints at all.The owners were a pleasure to deal with. Fantastic cottage and lot, thanks for sharing!

| What a beautiful spot for a family vacation,cottage was amazing,lots of room for 8 of us.Grandkids loved it lots of fishing,kayaking and paddleboating.Everything you need is there and so clean when we arrived would totally recommend this spot ,hope to return in the near future.Thank you to the owners it was everything we hoped for.

| We had a great weekend in this lovely cottage. It's very clean and well-maintained.
The two floors, each has a kitchen, dining table, two bedrooms and living area.
We only used the kitchen upstairs and it was fully equipped (a lot of glasses, plates, pans, utensils, etc.). The living room downstairs is carpeted while upstairs is hardwood. They both have several couches and they're all pretty comfortable.
The other point worth mentioning is that there are many windows which makes the inside nice and bright.
We really enjoyed the BBQ and dining table in the balcony.
The boat and canoes are great. We absolutely loved having them right there with the paddles and life jackets. The lake was also nice for swimming (although a bit cold at this time)
Finally, the hosts were amazing. They sent us instructions and FAQ guidelines that answered all our questions in advance and worked with us with the check-in and check-out times.
As a suggestion, I think addition of a foosball/air hockey table would be nice :)

| We stayed at the Moffat lake cottage for two nights for our quarterly planning offsite and the stay exceeded our expectations. Our meeting was very productive and the cottage offered lots of outdoor activities for team building including a fire pit, boats, bbq, to count a few. The lake temperature was very reasonable and there is a small island about a 5 minute boat ride which was a great place to explore and relax. After a day of business strategy planning inside the bright (There are windows EVERYWHERE) comfy cottage, it was really nice to sit outside and observe the lake near the fire pit. We were worried that no internet will be a problem, but the mobile phone network reception was sufficient for our needs. Thank you Ryan and Michelle for accommodating our request of an early check-in as it allowed us to beat the traffic and reduce the duration of our commute. We absolutely recommend this place and the lovely hosts.

| We (6 adults) just returned from a wonderful week at this cottage.
The cottage has 2 kitchens and they are completely stocked. There was no need to bring anything for cooking; the cottage had EVERYTHING.
We loved that there were so many different places to sit and relax--some for the whole group and some for just 1 or 2 people. The cottage has a lot of windows, so it is nice and bright. The lot is nicely wooded so you can see the lake, but have a real sense of privacy.
Moffat Lake is very picturesque and the water was perfect for swimming. We spent most of our time on the deck. The cottage sits on a narrow part of the lake so any motorized boats (we didn't see many) had to go slowly as they passed by the cottage. We appreciated having the canoe and paddle boat and used them almost every day.
Another advantage to the cottage is that it is not far from McKellar. The general store is very well stocked and had everything that we needed during the week.
Finally, we had an excellent experience dealing with the owners. They provided a "Welcome Guide" that was extremely extensive. It had had information on any kind of contingency that could possibly come up. We really appreciated that once they had checked the cottage, we received our security deposit back without any delay.
This cottage week is an annual tradition with the 6 of us. We have stayed at other cottages, but this has been the best by far. We all agree that we would like to return to this cottage.
