Our cabin is designed for your complete comfort in every season. It is winterized and has a fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. We also have a flat screen TV with satellite, DVD player, Wi-Fi and a back deck with a BBQ. Perfect for a family getaway or for the avid fisherman. Approximately 45 minutes from the north Winnipeg perimeter. We have a firepit with lounge furniture as well as a deck overlooking the beach. Suitable for a range of activities! Our property has a gorgeous direct view of the water! Perfect to play with your kids or just to relax or enjoy our gorgeous 4 season room with furniture for you and your family or friends to relax in. Excellent walleye fishing in the summer with the boat launch just down the road. In the winter, bring your auger and pitch your shack right outside the front door. Although the water in front is rocky and caution must be exercised during swimming, Patricia Beach, one of Manitoba's nicest beaches is only a 12 minute drive away. | This is a wonderful cabin with a lake view on the backyard porch. Located roughly an hour away from Winnipeg, the cabin is clean, has all amenities you need, entertainment, views, and is in a quiet and peaceful area. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family. Thank you for everything!

| Very spacious cottage with a cozy wood stove with wood supplied. We had a lovely time exploring the area and relaxing in the cottage. The kitchen was complete with everything needed and a bid bonus of a Keurig!
If you are looking for luxury, it may not be for you (living room seating is ready for replacement and toilet is the camper style), but if you're looking for a beautiful area, steps from the lake, in a nice little community for a really reasonable price, I highly recommend Balsam Cottage.
Arrival and departure was simple and smooth.
We would return in a heart beat!

| Wonderful cabin with great lake view. The sun unfortunately did not cooperate with us at all during our stay but having a cozy wood fire going definitely made up for it. It was cozy enough for two of us but there was lots of extra room to expand in to for larger groups or families. All appliances in good working order and drinking water was supplied. Due to Covid, board games and DVDs are unavailable for use so we made sure to bring some of our own.

| This rental experience was phenomenal. It had it all, location, cozy, clean, super comfortable. Nicely decorated. Hosts were very accommodating. Easy to communicate with. Prompt with replies to questions. They made the rental process seamless. Love it. We would give this rental 5 stars! We will book again , without a doubt.

| Such an amazing stay in a beautiful cabin. The spacious cabin had plenty of room for our family of 5. Kitchen was stocked with everything we need to prepare our meals. Close to xcountry ski trails and snowmobile trails. Owners even rented us their ice fishing shack. Would definitely go back.
