Sandy Maple Cottage is a cozy, spacious, eastern-exposure lake house with a direct access to Algonquin Highlands, as well as Halliburton Lake-front, offering a large and private sandy beach complete with a deck extension.
Sitting by the South Bay of beautiful Haliburton Lake, famous for her crystal clear water, our vacation home offers over 3,300 sq.ft of spacious open concept with maple-wood flooring interior space. The living room has walkout sliding glass doors onto the spacious deck overlooking Haliburton Lake.
Equipped with a full-kitchen, 5 spacious bedrooms (complete with 3 Bathrooms), and laundry (available exclusively for weekly rentals), this lil oasis of ours is prepared to accommodate up to 12 people comfortably, and features many on-site or nearby activities for our guests to enjoy (fees may apply).
You and your loved ones are welcome to enjoy a perfect day catching up on your readings on the hammock, or go canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boating, paddle-boarding, fishing, or swimming in the clear water lake. Our weed-free shore offers safe conditions for children to participate in the fun.
In winters, a direct access to Haliburton Lake offers a vast amount of open terrains with virtually unlimited access to snowmobiling, snowshoeing and many more! Our hot tub is also available for your enjoyment (surcharge applies).
If you plan to stay indoors, a pool table in the middle of the living room can also be converted into a ping-pong/table hockey table, keeping you entertained for hours, day and night.

| This beautiful cottage is perfectly fit for our weekend getaway! The cottage is clean, spacious and well supplied with all the comforts of home. We loved the beautiful deck which runs the whole way across the back of the house, we enjoyed barbecuing, stargazing and exercising while admiring the lovely view. We also enjoyed the use of the paddle boat, kayak, canoes, ping pong/pool table as well as the air hockey table.
Raymond was very responsive, everything was clearly communicated and followed through.
This was our second stay at Sandy Maple Cottage. We highly recommend this wonderful getaway.

| Great cottage for large families. Lots of equipment to enjoy on the water. Abundance of indoor activities for those rainy days. All kinds of utensils and kitchen gadgets. Nice sandy beach. Play structure for the little ones. Already booked another stay for next year!!!

| My family of 4 (parents plus 2 kids of 17 and 13) spent a lovely 3 days in March 2022 at Sandy Maple Cottage. The hot tub, the air hockey table and the pool table were particular favourites! The cottage was lovely and clean and the Administrative team very speedy and friendly to work with (not that we needed their help during our stay - everything worked as advertised!). The cottage is close to Sir Sam's ski hill (20 min drive). We would be happy to return - thank you for a great stay SMC team!

| The cottage was excellent. It was a perfect haven for our family. We all had a great time there specially the kids. The BBQ was not clean when we arrived though. We had. To clean that ourselves before we used it. Apart from that everything was excellent. It would have been even better if the water level of the lake wasn't so low. That is why we were unable to swim. The nights were beautiful, perfect for a bon fire. Overall a great stay and a memorable one. I will definitely come back and maybe stay longer. Hopefully we can swim next time.

| We recently had an excellent vacation at Sandy Maple Cottage (4 adults and 5 kids). The cottage was spacious, clean, well maintained and all in great condition. The lake was scenic and beautiful with the most amazing night views of the full moon. The kids loved the Air hockey and pool table as well as the beach and fire pit. To make the stay even more enjoyable I would provide more firewood to the guests, we burned ours on the first night then had to pay $20 per wheelbarrow for following nights.
