Seawatch Cottage has been described by its guests as a family paradise, picture-perfect, welcoming, the place to regenerate, well maintained, and immaculately clean. The cottage is located at the end of a private road, surrounded on 2 sides (north and south) with trees. The ocean is on the west side (just down a few steps) and Miminegash Pond is on the east. Sunsets over the ocean are spectacular and constantly changing. The sunrise over the pond is breathtaking. The owners have put much care into decorating the cottage as a cottage should be, quaint, with amazing rustic touches. Everything is comfortable, and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to make a simple or a gourmet meal. You can boil lobster or other shell fish, blend up a smoothy, bake a cake, anything! The Housekeeper/ Caretaker's husband is a fisherman and when in season brings in Lobster or scallops that you can get fresh from boat to door. Fresh white fish and shell fish can be purchased from the Fish Truck that parks in Alberton on Thursday or usually, in O'Leary on Friday. (check days) You simply can not pass up all of these fresh seafood experiences. To be able to cook and eat them at the cottage is special.
Each bedroom has ample bedding and the bathrooms are well supplied with towels, soap and amenities in case you forgot something.
There are laundry facilities including detergent.
When returning from the beach, one can take a quick wash in the outdoor shower.
Little children are welcomed by a large sand box and play structure which can be seen from the living and dining room windows.
As the cottage is off the main road, there are very few local people on the beach. People from the 7 other cottages might have guests staying but the cottages are spread out over a long beach.
Nowhere on the island could you find such a perfect place to spend a week or 2 of your vacation knowing that when you return home, you will be refreshed and totally relaxed and happy that you found Seawatch Cottage.

| This is our third visit to the cottage. As soon as you step out of the car it feels like coming home. We were fortunate to be there during the harvest moon which could be clearly seen over the pond. If quiet and seclusion is what you are looking for this is the perfect place. The cottage is exceptionally clean, well stocked and the beds are more than comfortable. The only thing I missed were the stairs going down to the beach but unfortunately that is out of the owners control. The landscape changes on a continual basis due to the weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the seafood and the weather.

| We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at the lovely Seawatch cottage!
The Sunrises over the Miminegash pond were beautiful & the sunsets by the sea were stunning. We were very to have some warm and sunny Sept days that included swimming in the ocean.
The cottage was absolutely perfect, with everything that we needed. It was bright, well laid out, beautifully decorated and well stocked. The location was so peaceful, secluded and private which was exactly what we wanted.
We enjoyed touring around North Cape including North Point, West Point, Tignish, Summerside - we found beauty everywhere.
Our favourite thing by far, was walking the beach, collecting Sea-glass + talking to the locals on the beach.
The beach is the best one that we have enjoyed because it is not only gorgeous, it is so quiet + private.
We were sad to leave & we will definitely miss Seawatch, but we look forward to returning again.
Thank you! Kimberley & David Kanata, Ontario

Owner response: Thank you for the positive review of Seawatch Cottage. It gives us great pleasure to rent to people who appreciate the cottage and location and who go away having had a good experience. That is what a holiday should be. We have enjoyed communicating with you over the changes of dates and times caused by Covid. Thankfully, it was finally arranged and you were able to be there. | |

| My husband and I and our daughter and her partner had a wonderful time at the Seawatch Cottage. The views were magnificent and the decor and amenities were amazing. The proximity to to our son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren who were staying at the Sea Sand & Stars cottage was also very convenient for all of us. We were able to meet up on the beautiful beach and have suppers and BBQ,s together and make little side trips. The younger ones could enjoy the island and we could enjoy the peaceful quiet and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I would and will reccommend it to all. A vacation to make wonderful memories. The lobster supper was delicious Brian. Thank you for everything Barb. Marge

| We just returned from a wonderful week at Seawatch Cottage. The location of the property is so unique. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting on the front verandah overlooking Miminegash Pond, and then took a few steps across the back yard to sit on a beautiful beach next to the ocean. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The service provided by the managers was exceptional. They were easily reached and they went out their way to make our stay even more enjoyable.

| September is a delightful month to visit PEI. My husband and I rented the cottage for the month and had just a terrific stay --- it was more than we could have imagined! Gene and Irene, the managers, were so hospitable, and the cottage itself had everything we could have needed to enjoy our extended stay! PEI offered fresh lobster (right from the fisherman), potatoes, carrots, sweet corn, green beans, etc, the seasons for which had already passed in the US. It was tantamount to enjoying summer number two! The bread baked at the Harbor View Convenience store and eatery is the best we have ever tasted, and the people very, very friendly! The sunrises and sunsets at the cottage are not to be believed --- beautiful, beautiful!!
