Clean, bright, hand crafted cabin for rent. This one bedroom cabin features a 3-piece bathroom, pull out sofa bed and kitchen area. It is nestled in a natural nature setting surrounded by a semi-active farm and is very private but near everything! The cottage is located just a 10 minutes drive to the south of beautiful Kincardine. Breathtaking Lake Huron and a sandy beach are just a four minute walk down the laneway. Firewood is available for purchase on site and custom made live edge tables, benches and other wood items are for sale (made on site).

The cabin includes a refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, toaster, Wifi, satellite and a 42" Smart TV. There is a large enclosed porch for sitting and listening to the birds sing! Just outside is a barbeque area with raised deck and picnic table as well as a large fire pit. Bring your own towels & linens; there is one queen bed and a double pull out sofa. Please also bring additional paper products (toilet paper, paper towels).

The cabin is on the local municipal water supply so please do not bring bottled water to maintain our eco friendly lifestyle which includes composting all vegetable matter on site and organic farming. The cabin is cleaned using a non-chemical system to reduce allergies and sensitivities. It is heated with a wood stove in the off season and has electric baseboards. A septic system is in use as well.

Kincardine is known for some of the most unforgettable sunsets in the world! It has much to offer with many restaurants, live theatre, festivals, concerts, golf courses. Stores in town include Sobey's, No Frills, Shopper's Drug Mart, LCBO and the Beer Store. The famous Kincardine Pipe Band Parade is a Saturday night tradition (at 8 p.m. sharp) in this small town with a Scottish heritage. On Friday nights of every long weekend, there is a car show downtown.

We loved the cabin. It is exactly what a getaway cabin should look like, cozy, comfortable, clean. The cabin is secluded and peaceful, something we both needed to relax and forget about our responsibilities at home.
We enjoyed swimming and walks on the private beach. We were amazed to see a deer swimming out of the lake and coming on shore 200 yards from where we were sitting.
The cabin is secluded, but still close to many amenities and other little towns to visit and explore.
Wayne is a great host and enjoyable to talk to. He respects your privacy but is there if you need him, or have any questions.
We had a wonderful Time. Thank you Wayne.

Private and secluded cabin, hidden away from the main road. Lots of privacy. Cabin is well-furnished and very clean. Kitchen fully loaded. My wife and I spent a very peaceful and quiet weekend here. We spent a good portion of our time just at the cabin, where you can hear birds throughout the day. At night we had a fire, roasted some marshmallows, and watched the stars. Cabin is <10 min drive to central Kincardine to restaurants and shops. Overall excellent stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. My hubby and I never get away and this was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, beautiful, private and relaxing. We sat around the fireplace and exchanged stories and reconnected. Exactly what we needed. Wayne was great amd very accommodating.

I had a great experience staying at the Woodcarver's studio. It is a secret place hiding in the woods that it took me quite a while to explore where it is. I felt I totally escaped from the real world.
The studio has almost everything you need for cooking and having a romantic dinner with your beloved one.
The location is also fantastic. A few minutes driving to the town centre of Kincardine to enjoy the peaceful sunset and live music in the park.
Wayne is a warm-hearted owner and he is a very easygoing person that I would like to chat with again.

A very cozy cabin, clean and comfortable. Nice with the wood beams and décor. The host, Wayne, very pleasant. A real country feel with the nearby barn - lots of trees around. A short walk to a sandy beach on Lake Huron. At the main entrance a fruit and vegetable stand with locally grown produce! We'll visit again sometime in the late fall/winter and try out the air tight stove.
