South Beach Shade is a cozy rental getaway situated on a private lot with scenic birch trees, a classic cottage street and just a short 500 meter walk to beautiful Lake Huron beach. There are two bedrooms in the cottage that sleeps 4 comfortably plus a bunkie that sleeps 2.

Don & I had not been to South Hampton before and really enjoyed the area, bike trails , sunsets, and the cottage was amazing. Clean well equipped and perfect location. We will definatley be looking into going back again next year. Glad Pam & Steve suggested to us going.

The cottage was fantastic. Very well equipped and a short walk from a great beach. Definitely a home away from home. Our family enjoyed our stay so much that we took the first opportunity to book it again for next year! The cottage is extremely family friendly and close to trails for walks/runs. It's also just that right distance from downtown, so that you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and yet be close to anything and everything you could want or need. Michelle and Rock were great hosts, always being available when we had a question or quick with suggestions.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was great and had all of the amenities we could need. The location was beautiful with plenty of walking and bike trails. And the hosts were very considerate and helpful. If you are looking for a cottage in the area this is a wonderful choice. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at this beautiful cottage for a week in September. The cottage is very comfortable and cozy with very nice decor and everything that you will need for your stay. The outdoor area is amazing with different areas where you can sit out and a firepit!
The beach is just down at the end of the street and it has the most gorgeous sunsets! You can also walk for a good long way on the beach as well. The area is lovely and really quiet and safe.
Tons of stuff to do in the surrounding area as well! I highly recommend this cottage.
I have to also mention that our host was absolutely amazing as I ran into some bad luck while I was staying there and she helped me out tremendously. Thank you again so much Kathleen!

This cottage was perfect for our first vacation this summer. Plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved having their own space in the bunkie. The cottage felt like a home and was in an ideal location. Close to downtown, shops and several beaches. We wouldn't hesitate to rent here again. Thank you for being such great hosts!
