The Good Life. www.lakeviewlodge.org

It used to be that you would have to go to an exclusive resort to get accommodation that combined upscale living, spacious quarters and fabulous waterfront. Now, you don't have to look any further than Lakeview Lodge.

Visit us at www.lakeviewlodge.org for an extensive gallery of images and information.

Lakeview Lodge is located in a quiet bay on the pristine shores of Lake Kamaniskeg with over 135' of waterfront. The Lodge offers magnificent views of this substantial lake with over 50 km of water sport thrills with boat rentals available directly on the lake delivered to the dock (info available upon request).

Winter is also a wonderful time of year to visit Lakeview Lodge. There's little more romantic than wrapping up warm for a moonlit walk on a frozen lake, with the smell of wood smoke in the air, and the canopy of stars glittering overhead. Returning to your cozy cottage to curl up in front of the fire or in the Hot Tub and reflect on yet another beautiful day in cottage country to round off an evening perfectly.

Lakeview Lodge is a summer and winter retreat available starting in 2014.

Come on in...

Let's start in the cottage itself. When you walk in, you will be greeted in the hallway by the light streaming through the floor to ceiling windows that face the lake. Chances are the lake will be calm and a deep blue in the sunshine. To your left, you will see an incredible kitchen and dining area, complete with seating for your entire group and appliances that will delight any chef...and we do mean ANY chef...

I'm not sure how anyone could rate this place less than a five star? This is our second time staying here and we had an absolutely amazing time again!

We had a tiny hiccup with communication when we checked in, but that was rectified quickly and completly understandable.

Rest of the trip was amazing. Hot tub worked great, and the property was in great condition.

Pool table is awesome as is the Foosball table in the basement.

Amazing views, and the docks are nice and the beach is sandy and easy to walk almost out to the second dock due to how shallow it is.

We will definetly be staying here again as my wife and I had an amazing, relaxing week.

If you do have any issues, Jake is quick and friendly to respond and take care of all of them ASAP.

Definetly highly reccomended.

We have been renting Lakeview Lodge for 8 years now and we absolutely LOVE it! It feels like our home away from home. Jake has always been a pleasure to deal with and takes such great care of this place in order to make our stay very comfortable.

The cottage was decently designed and the grounds were nice but the cottage needed a thorough cleaning.

In the pullout beds in the loft, we found dirty underwear when we opened them.
The large ceiling fan in the living room had not be dusted for a long, long time. We dusted it and gobs of dust came floating down on the floor which he had to clean up. There were cobwebs hanging from it.
The windows had not been cleaned for many months and were the dirtiest of any cottage we have rented in the last 6 years. They were covered in bug splatter along with the months of grime inside and out.
My wife was not satisfied with the cleanliness of our bedroom and gave it a thorough cleaning.
The hot tub was way over chlorinated making the room it was in very unpleasant to be in.
The downstairs was very musty smelling making it likely there was a mold problem.
I would not stay at this cottage again unless it was guaranteed in the contract that these problems had been resolved.

Owner response:
Please look at our other reviews, they are 100% positive. This review appears to have been made in bad faith.

We have been going to Lakeview Lodge for several years and always look forward to our return. It is a great place for our annual family get away on our favourite lake. Jake has always been responsive when we need information or his help. The small and sandy beach is perfect for our grandchildren. The cottage(house) is always clean and comfortable. We have already booked our dates for next year!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this cottage. My family and I have stayed here 6 years in a row and we are already planning our 7th year.

The cottage is spacious, cozy and clean, with all the amenities you could ask for.

The property has it all. The lake is beautiful with a nice sandy entry and a dock to jump off of. There is a grassy area to run around, a fire pit, large outdoor deck space to hang out or have a meal.

The location is great too. There are cottages around you, but with the trees it is very private. The town is only a 10 minute drive away and has lots of stores if you want to spend some time shopping.

The owner has always been great to deal with. Friendly and helpful. Quick to respond if you have any questions.

Staying at this cottage every year is a highlight for my family. We look forward to it all year round. I hope to stay here for many more years to come.
