Great kitchen for cooking dinners while entertaining family and friends. The kitchen is definitely one of the highlights of the cottage and the most popular gathering place inside the cottage. It has a wrap around deck on the east, south and west side so that you can always be on the leeward side of any wind enjoying the peace and calm of the Island. You decide..! | We are currently at the Big Blue for our second stay. It is our fifth year coming to Pelee, and the best rental we have ever had. Communication with the owner is fantastic, the privacy alone is our enough of a reason to come back. Completely private beach, beautiful cottage, amazing view. Incredible in every way.

| We just spent an incredible week at Big Blue! Danny was the most amazing host we have ever had! He was incredibly prompt in answering any questions that we had and was there to greet us when we arrived with two bottles of Pelee Island wine.. it does not get any more tranquil and private then this cottage location. Wrap around deck and private beach with all the comforts of home. Fall asleep listening to the waves of the lake or read a book on the hammock. Fish Point is just a small bike ride away. Don't waste anytime and book this lovely cottage! We will definitely be back! Thanks Danny and Connor for making our stay soooo enjoyable!

| WOW! Just wow! Can't say enough about what a wonderful place Big Blue is. We had one of the best weeks as a family that we have had in a long time. We were impressed by the cottage, By Danny's responsiveness to any and all questions, by the spectacular location and most especially by the friendliness of just about everyone on Pelee Island. Everyone we met treated us like we were family! Danny and his family truly have a hidden gem, and we are ever so grateful to have spent a week there. My kids actually asked me if we could go back next year and that's a win, in my books!

| My husband and I were looking for a quiet safe place for our adult children and ourselves to get away during covid and we fount this perfect place! The private beach is incredible and the beautiful cottage was just perfect for all 9 of us! All of us loved the time there and all of the amenities that are offered including a paddle boat, kayak, row boat, hammock, swing on the beach, beach chairs, floating devices for lounging in the water, badminton rackets, large bbq, charcoal bbq, huge kitchen, tables and chairs in each of the 3 decks that wrap around the cottage for beautiful views of the lake ect ect. Danny was an incredible host always available for anything! Everything you need is within a 5 minute drive but everything you want is already there! We will be coming back soon!

| There is so much to be said about the amazing experience Big Blue offers!
Starting off with Danny, one of the most hospitable & genuine people you'll ever meet - he ensured that we were well taken care of & you can definitely see all of the work he puts into the property regularly (raking the beach, well kept lawn)
Big Blue itself suited our family very week with more than enough space for the 10 of us to enjoy a quiet week of quality Pelee time.
The privacy and size of the property is a rare bonus for being on the island - and after coming here for 20 years, it's like we've found a true piece of PeleeHeaven! Indoors and outdoors there is enough comfortable furniture for a large family, the beds were comfortable & the kitchen was the perfect size for catering big family meals. The beach has calm waters that were shallow enough for the kids to enjoy all day long.
We will be back to this beautiful hidden gem!
