Located at the base of Blue Mountain on an acre of land, our Southwestern Chalet at Blue Mountain is less than a 10 minute walk from the lifts Village at Blue Mountain in Collingwood.

This lovingly upgraded, air-conditioned home boasts an open-concept format, with a very large living and dining room with 2 large screen TV's and cable. Cozy around one of our fireplaces with a glass of wine for good conversation with your guests!

The renovated kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate large gatherings with modern appliances and room for more than one cook!

Our wrap-around deck has a gas BBQ and two six-seat patio sets with a stunning panoramic view of Blue Mountain.This chalet is capable of holding larger groups and provides a perfect backdrop for those memorable friends and family weekends. The main level rear deck is spacious with a new 8 person hot tub that can be accessed by any bedroom on the main level.Walk over to the fire pit with seating for warming by the fire and roasting marshmallows.

The newly renovated lower level boasts a super big screen TV, fireplace with leather recliners and games table.

The chalet accommodates up to 14 people with a total of 5 bedrooms; three on the main floor and two on the lower floor with two sizable, newly renovated bathrooms.

Note: Highway 26 west to Grey Road 19. Follow Grey Road 19 from Collingwood to the intersection lights at 19 and Jozo Weider Blvd. Proceed straight at those llights until you see The Blue Mountains Fire Station on your left which is located at the intersection of Grey Rd. 19 and Kandahar Lane. Turn right at that intersection and proceed down Kandahar Lane, until you see Arlberg Crescent. Turn left at that intersection and you will find the property located on your left 200ft down Arlberg.

Pricing is based on up to 14. You must be 25 years of age to rent. A rental agreement will be emailed to you for review, by email, as part of the booking process. If you are booking at a point that is outside of 30 days from your selected date of check-in then 50% of the rental fee is required at the time of booking and the remaining 50% of the rental fee is due thirty days prior to your check-in date and will/may be charged to your credit card 30 days prior to your selected check-in date. If you are booking your property at a date that is inside of 30 days from your selected date of check-in then 100% of the rental fee is required at the time of booking. Cancellation Policies are contained within the rental agreement. A minimum $1500 refundable security deposit is required. Deposit amount may vary depending on the duration of the rental.

I hosted my friend's bachelor party with 10 guys at the Southwestern Style Chalet. The location was prime, with minimal distance to Village and spacious property to be seclude from neighbours. Comfortably slept everyone with a variety of bedrooms on multiple floors depending on preferences. The chalet was very clean. Easy to co-ordinate stay and information with the hosts whom are quick to respond. I would recommend and return if I have the opportunity. If you're looking for a fun activity to do for any bachelor/bachelorette's we had "The Beer Bus" create a tour for the guys whom picked us up from the Chalet.

Our group stayed for 3 nights in July and we all had a great time! The place was clean and everything was as depicted on the pictures. Would definitely come back and recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a great time. The only thing was the construction around the cottage that we did not know about. It caused some disturbance during the day but overall, it wasn't that big of a deal.

We appreciate guests like Daniel who has visited both of our properties. We did not think to mention the construction in the area, which is taking place to accommodate more visitors to Blue Mountain, as this phase is virtually complete! Since the stay was mid-week it would have more impact than on the majority who visit on the weekend. Our mid-week rates are adjusted accordingly. We are happy his guests enjoyed the stay and would recommend us to others! Daniel we look forward to seeing you again.

Had a great experience. Rented for a bachelor party weekend. Although the cottage was on the high end for price it was centrally located, had amazing views of the hills, and a large property for lounging, games, and fires. The updates made our stay very comfortable as the cottage was clean and appeared maintained. I would recommend it again for someone looking with a large group of people.

Great Cottage, Lots of room and close to everything.

Acceptable conditions, better cottages can be found for similar price point.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. However, very many parts of the cottage are in disrepair, to the point that we were concerned we had missed many things when mentioning them in our walk through on arrival. Poor ventilation in combination with no screen doors on the main level made for a stuffy odour in the house. It's apparent that very little money goes back into the house.

Our contact,for the weekend, Sergio, was very helpful and easy to deal with. The management contact we had set up the rental with was not quite as pleasant.

If it were me, I would look to one of the many other cottages that are not as outdated.

The previous tenant which was a family with children told us it was their best vacation ever.... We have just completed thousands of $ dollars in new wraparound decks, new outdoor dining tables, umbrellas and outdoor living room furnishings as well as a complete interior and exterior repaint, updated some of the window coverings and upgraded mattresses and some comforters and light fixtures this year. We installed new floors and renovated the great room and recreation rooms, installed a new dishwasher, added a tankless water heater, replaced the front door, installed new railings and a bar cooler on the upper deck and updated the master bedroom complete with new furnishings last year. The chalet is centrally air conditioned and ventilation has never been an issue. We take pride in presenting a quality experience and go out of our way to add unique detail not normally provided in a rental property. This visitor had issues and inquiries to address at each stage from initial inquiry to exit (including an inquiry about the specific speed of the high speed internet - stating high speed was not sufficient to predict the experience of all guests on the internet at the same time) so it is no surprise, but still a disappointment, that he is the first in 10 years of rentals to give the chalet a less than stellar review.
