COVID UPDATE: LIMITING TO 10 GUESTS Enjoy a true Canadian summer experience on spectacular Charleston Lake famous for its crystal clear water, excellent fishing and natural wildlife. Boasting over 100 miles of shoreline, and over 100 islands this large deep lake is the perfect place to spend a holiday. Excellent swimming from dock or wade in from shore, perfect for children. The cottage is conveniently located close to the village of Charleston where there is a marina, boat launch and boat rentals as well as a restaurant and ice cream parlour. Cottage is separable into 2 levels. The upper level (over 1,000 square feet) walks out to the lake and has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with tub, fullsize modern kitchen with dinning area, and a large sunroom with large TV/ DVD player. The lower level (which can be closed off for noise!) is over 800 square feet of brand new construction has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, and large common room with large tv/dvd. It walks out to a large flat playing field.
Over 2,000 square feet of outdoor patio seating on multiple levels. 2 barbecues, 2 large outdoor dining areas, each with seating for 8+. There is also a Cabana right at the dock which has a large sitting area and could be used as a 5th bedroom.
You will never run out of things to do with this property on Charleston Lake. Includes access to:

Paddleboat
Bikes
Yard in back is ideal for playing lawn games including badminton, soccer, or volleyball.

| Shirley's Temple was a great location to have a Girl's Weekend .
The home was spacious and comfortable and well stocked.
So many options for outdoor seating and relaxing.
Water was still warm enough for swimming. Great waterfront!
Love that we could arrive early on Friday and not leave until noon on Sunday.
Thanks Chris you do need to get a proper ladle in the kitchen (for our stew & soup)

| We had a wonderful time. Perfect for 2 families. The lake was beautiful, cottage was beautiful with lots of space. There were many different seating areas to enjoy the view of the lake while dining or having a fire. We would definitely rent this place again!

| This cottage was fantastic! We had a group of 11 up there with no issues at all. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, eat and hangout. They have plenty of space near the water to relax and the weather was amazing! I would definitely come back here or recommend it to friends and family.

| We've stayed at Shirley's Temple three years in a row now, and, after renting about 12 different cottages over 18 years, we all agree that it's the best-supplied and best-run cottage we've seen. Chris, the landlord, lives right next store and is there within minutes if anything is needed. It also has plenty of room for people to sleep, and the beds are comfortable. The views of Charleston Lake (from five different seating areas!) are fabulous. The swimming is terrific; you can dive right off the end of the dock, and the shallow part near shore is perfect for little ones. There's also a grassy yard out back for outdoor games. All in all, we'd highly recommend Shirley's Temple to anyone who is looking for a cottage for a large number of people. It's perfect for a family cottage holiday.
