| The cottage lived up to all expectations. Very, very well equipped, very comfortable and also homely We were a family grouping of adults and there were numerous spaces to enjoy quiet time on your own or with others. Our younger family members lived nearby and there were numerous playthings for them to enjoy when they came to visit. There was a generosity of supplies which was much appreciated Thank you Lesley and Richard for sharing your wonderfully hideaway with is.

| Great place exactly as described. Lots of room and lots of things to do! The walk to the beach is short (<5 minutes) and the cottage is well appointed as described. We had no problem fitting 8 adults for sleeping (and a couple of more for dinner one night). Great attentive hosts who were quick to follow up with any questions.

| We were 6 adults, 6 kids and a baby and the layout worked well for us to get the kids to bed and then enjoy some adult time upstairs around the table or in front of the fire. We used one blow up for our kids to have the, in the master room but there was another pull out bed available. We skied everyday of the trip at Calabogie which was minutes away. The local pizzeria delivers and Red Neck Cafe 10 mins away was great. Beautifully finished home with lots of room, would rent again and recommend it.

| Our family had an amazing stay at the Walkers' chalet. It was my husband and I, our three kids (ages 7,9,10) and my parents and there was more than enough room for all of us to either be all together or to spread out and have time to ourselves. We all enjoyed the two living areas to relax at the end of a fun-filled day as well as the deck both for eating meals and just relaxing. The kitchen was also a great size for a few cooks to be working at the same time. All the finishings were high end, beds were very comfortable, etc.
This was our first visit to the Calabogie area and we enjoyed the town and surroundings. Our boys enjoyed the shared beach near the cottage and we ended up spending a lot of time at Barnet Park (5 min drive) where there were a couple of beaches, volleyball, swing sets and exercise machines. Calabogie Lake was perfect for the kids with its gradual entry and at Barnet Park in particular we could go out a long piece before it was too deep.
We tried two of the restaurants in town - the pizzeria for takeout (and ice cream!) and the Red Neck Bistro both of which were very good. We also checked out the brewery which was good as well. Hiking is fantastic in the area and we made a trip to Eganville to check out the Bonnechere Caves which was well worth the trip.
Overall, a great time and we would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. We hope to return sometime in ski season as well. Thanks for letting us stay Richard and Lesley!

| This cottage is easily worth 5 stars! My family has rented many cottages over the last few years but this was by far one of the top on our list!
The cottage was super clean and was accurate to the photos provided. It was so welcoming and luxurious that I wish this was my home! My family was in awe as we did a tour of the cottage. Lots of windows bringing in so much natural light, lots of space throughout, and we especially loved having breakfast outside on the large upstairs patio. Also, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you can think of!
There are so many activities inside the cottage alone (pool table, air hockey, ping pong, etc) that we only made our way to the private beach on our last day (which had very clean water and a very easy nearby walk). At night we relaxed by the firepit in the large backyard area.
I highly recommend this cottage to everyone as it has something for everyone! We were so pleased we wanted to book this cottage the weekend after (but unfortunately we weren't all available.) we definitely will rent here again and guarantee anyone who comes here will not regret it!
