I bought the cottage next door. It is called Cedar Island Hideaway. Look it up! Sleeps 6 - 2 bedrooms, one full bath. Cozy two bedroom cottage with lots of Lake Erie beach! One bedroom has a queen bed, the other bedroom has a single bed. There is a pull-out couch in the living room. It has a 3 piece bathroom, with an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. The deck is perfectly situated so you can enjoy the morning sunrises while drinking your coffee or tea. You can use the propane bbq for your outdoor cooking needs or you can just enjoy sitting around a campfire in the evenings enjoying the cool summer breezes off the lake! | What a fantastic spot! My husband and I spent a week here with our two young children (2 and 3 y.o.) and we all had a blast!
The private beach with immediate access to sand and water right outside our door was perfect for the kiddos, and the big deck was great for eating lunch outside and for the kids to run around.
The inside of the cottage was spacious, with a nice big living area for us all to spread out and a small, but well-stocked kitchen made meals a breeze.
It was nice to have a full size bathroom with a tub and two good sized bedrooms for us to use.
The cottage itself is only 20 mins away from Point Pelee National Park which we visited and the little town of Kingsville is charming and has a lot to offer. Leamington is also very close as well.
Overall a great spot and we can't wait to return.

| This place is a GEM! Julie is an amazing host and a pleasure to book with. Cedar Island Retreat feels like your own personal tropical getaway. The beach is clean and sandy and the water is perfect. The cottage is bright and spacious with a beautiful large and breezy deck. This place has quickly become a favourite destination for my family.

| We really loved our stay at Julie's Cedar Island Retreat. You really can't beat having access to your own private, sandy beach for swimming or enjoying a campfire while listening to the waves roll onto the shore. The cottage itself is small but quite comfortable for three people; we made use of the gas fireplace on the cooler, fall evenings. The location is great for those who enjoy visiting wineries and is also very close to the town Kingsville where there are many cute shops and great restaurants to enjoy. We would absolutely book this cottage again.

| This was such an amazing spot for my daughters and I. We stayed for three nights and Julie was a fantastic host: quick to reply to questions and friendly. The location is close to the main town of Kingsville with everything you might need. The lane it's located on is quiet with tons of other friendly vacation goers and locals. Amazing start to the summer! Thank you Julie!

| Close to home... Yet felt so far away. Such a wonderful vacation spot. Couldn't have been more comfortable and relaxed! Very clean and the beach was perfectly amazing! We had fires, built sand castles, kayaked, the kids rode there bike around the island and to the park. All the neighbors were so friendly! Tons of beautiful birds of all kinds. The sound of the water, the breeze, the air... A perfect vacation spot! Above all, Julie was so kind and accommodating! Highly recommend! A great place to vacation!
