Year round family cottage rental - brand new pine log cottage, built in 2011. Only 1.5 hours from Toronto.
STARTING 2018 - July & August rental weeks will run Sunday to Sunday.

Please note this is a cottage. It's not the Ritz-Carlton. You may find that our housecleaning services are not as all-encompassing as yours are. Yes, there will be ashes in the firepit, and often little bits in the BBQ down on the heat shields. We aren't going to wash the thresholds of the patio doors between guests. We do expect you to leave the cottage clean when you depart. Yes, we now have a housecleaning service as we have found that people in their hurry to get out the door often overlook certain things and the next people get a little irritated. We do our best.

If you want to rent our beautiful cottage, you will have to send us an email so we can send you the contract. We can't do that with texts, or over the phone line. Just email us.

New for 2018 - new stove with larger burners. Expanded deck with glass railing, for a better view from the living room while giving a lot more space for chairs around the patio table.

NEW FOR 2017 - Expanded driveway to better accommodate your vehicles. New french door refrigerator (which actually keeps the ice cream frozen, no matter how hot the summer is!) We have switched over the ceiling fans in the main part of the cottage and 2 of the bedrooms to a more efficient LED light and fan with a remote. They produce a nice breeze, and lots of light.

My family and I had an excellent vacation at Pine Burrow Cottage. It had everything we could possibly need to relax and enjoy our days. Very comfortable cottage with fully stocked kitchen if you like to cook on vacation. I particularly loved the blue hanging chair that provided a perfect spot to spend my afternoons reading. The boathouse was full of a variety of different water 'toys' to play in the water. There was a bit of noise from neighbouring cottages, but it didn't interfere with our stay too much. Just something to know before you arrive in case you are looking for complete peace and quiet. We will definitely consider returning in the future.

Thank you Susannah for your review. Yes sometimes other cottagers nearby are making some noise, but other times everyone is silent and you would swear you are the only one there! We would be quite happy to have you back for another stay.

We have had the pleasure of staying here both in the summer of 2016 and 2019. Our family of five enjoyed every minute of their time in this clean and cozy cottage. We had everything we needed inside from the fully stocked kitchen (utensils, pots, pans, dishes etc), comfy beds, spacious bathroom (for a cottage) and large living space to relax on a rainy day. On beautiful sunny summer days, we were outdoors using all the kayaks and the canoe and paddle board. Our youngest was on a constant rotation of the water craft (he was 11 the first time we were there!) Sitting by the dock enjoying a book or lounging in one of the hammocks was the best. And to end each day by the firepit was incredible! Memories to last a lifetime! Thank you Randy and Sandy! We'll be back :)

Thank you so much Liz! We look forward to having your family come again.

We stayed a the Pine Burrow Cottage during Christmas in 2017 and 2018. Sandy and Randy thought of every detail, we had everything we needed. They even put up a Christmas tree for us which made our vacation even better. We stayed with our daughters, 3 and 6 years old and we all had a great time. The cottage is clean and during winter it was warm and very cozy. Thank you Sandy and Randy for another lovely stay at your home.

Thank you Ceren for the lovely review! It was a pleasure to have you & your family over the holidays.

This is my 2nd time staying at The Pine Burrow and I am sure I'd want to come for a 3rd time some day. The cottage is exactly as advertised. Cosy, clean and perfectly situated right on the water. I noticed some upgrades and updates this year which was a nice surprise. The new boat house (shed) is gorgeous and has everything you need to stay active on the lake.

Thanks for the great review Kiril! Hopefully we will see you again soon!

Sandy & Randy

We enjoyed our stay at this cute and cozy little cottage with a beautiful view of the lake. Just about everything you could need was on hand, except a first aid kit. It was fun to play badminton on the lawn, go canoeing, kayaking, and swimming, as long as you aren't bothered by weeds. There's a very nice deck and bbq for dining outside, a big fire pit and lawn seating, with daring chipmunks visiting regularly to entertain the kids. Inside the cottage is a big comfy couch with a gorgeous view out the windows all around; it's also a great place to sit and get cosy while watching a movie at night. Neighbours are close on either side so this would be the one draw-back if you're looking for privacy and room to roam. All-in-all a nice place to stay, and so conveniently located close to Havelock.

Thanks for the nice review, Polly. There is a fully-stocked first aid kit on site in the cupboard in the bathroom on the second shelf. Sorry you didn't find it!
