The Willow Bank is a clean four bedroom luxury cottage. It's located on the beautiful Northern Bruce Peninsula ten minutes south of Tobermory on the shore of a sheltered inlet of Lake Huron. The cottage is located in a private setting surrounded by water and a forest of green trees. The cottage is a few minute drive from the major tourist attractions including the Bruce Peninsula National Park, Fathom Five National Marine Park, the Grotto and Singing Sands Beach.

Commencing September 3rd, 2022, the Willow Bank cottage will only be rented for periods of 30 days or more. Sometimes, stays of a week or two at a fantastic vacation property is just not a long enough to really unwind and experience the true magic of a unique vacation destination. Families can enjoy swimming, boating and hiking for example while someone in the family continues to work remotely on-line using the unlimited wireless highspeed connection that has been provided.

We are providing a complimentary post-rental cleaning service for all stays. This will free up our guests to leave the task of cleaning the cottage at the end of their stay to our excellent cleaning staff. Guests will still be expected to tidy up the cottage and dispose of their garbage and recyclables before departure. Guests will not be expected to clean washrooms and kitchens before heading home.

The cottage is comfortably furnished and equipped outside with many modern amenities including a large front deck, a gas BBQ, patio table and chairs, a shoreline fire pit and two kayaks. Inside the cottage, there is a long list of amenities including a dishwasher, two 46 inch flat screen satellite HDTV's and a complimentary wireless high-speed internet connection just to name a few.

Note: The Willow Bank cottage is located in a natural area on the shores of a sheltered inlet of Lake Huron. The cottage is aptly named because it was built on the bank of a trout stream named the Willow Creek as it flows into Lake Huron. This trout stream attracts birds, waterfowl and a wide variety of animals.

There might be many good cottages to rent on the Northern Bruce Peninsula but there are few that offer visitors as quiet and private a location as the Willow Bank cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at Willow Bank. The cottage is beautifully situated on calm water, just off of Lake Huron - perfect for kayaking and paddleboating, with gentle water access for kids to wade and look for frogs. Lots of green space for playing, as well as a gorgeous main deck where we spent a lot of time, with another beautiful deck on the second floor that was perfect for watching stars. The location is quiet and secluded, but close to Tobermory, Singing Sands, and Bruce Trail hiking. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortable, well maintained and supplied, and clean (especially appreciated during COVID). A lot of care has gone into making Willow Bank a beautiful retreat, and Genn was an excellent host. The kids, adults, and grandparents in our group all had a great time and we hope to return again!

Thank you Katie for inputting such a lovely review of the Willow Bank cottage. I am always thrilled to read that my guests have enjoyed their stay. The woman, Holly, that oversees the majority of the cottage preparedness for my guests between groups does a wonderful job of ensuring that the cottage is clean, tidy and well equipped for all of my guests. The Willow Bank is located in a very unique and private setting on the beautiful Northern Bruce Peninsula. It really is a magical place. I look forward to hearing from you again. Stay safe.

I don't even know where to begin. One word that comes to mind. AMAZING. My husband and I just returned from a week at this amazing cottage. We had our children and grandson come up for a couple of nights and then my husbands parents for a couple nights. This cottage is your home away from home. So peaceful and the views were spectacular. Glenn was there to meet us on our arrival to take us for the formal tour. The cottage is equipped with everything and the beds were comfortable. Very clean and beautiful place. Looking forward to planning our next vacation. If you are looking for relaxation, and gorgeous views then look no further. This is the place.

Thank youSherri lynn for taking the time to post a review of your family's stay at the Willow Bank cottage. It was my pleasure to host you and your family at the cottage this September. Three generational familes are my favourite groups. I know they will be respectful of my property and will be making long lasting memories of spending quality time together. Many of them have made staying at the Willow Bank cottage an annual tradition. This year, dealing with Covid-19 has forced me to re-examine our cleaning protocols between groups. I am fortunate to have a woman that does an incredible job of cleaning and preparing the cottage for all of my guests. I am glad you and your family enjoyed your stay and would welcome you all back to the Willow Bank cottage anytime. Thanks again and stay safe.

Just returned from a week here. Cottage was very clean with recently upgraded bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, amazing deck to enjoy the view and lots of privacy. Glenn was great to deal with and quick to respond to questions.

We went in September and definitely got lucky with the weather. Lots of hiking trails in nearby national parks, didn't really go to the beach other than to check it out but it was very nice as well.

We would definitely return, couldn't really ask for much more.

Thank you Lorry for taking the time to input a review of your recent stay at the Willow Bank cottage. We have been going steady since mid-June and the Willow Bank cottage has been completely booked since then. Not a single night was left vacant from then to Thanksgiving. It can be a lot of work and attention to details. I am fortunate to have an excellent person doing the bulk of the cottage cleaning and the preparation work for all of the families and groups staying at the cottage. I oversee the change-over's between groups and also perform cottage maintenance. I take pride in delivering the highest degree of client service from the time of someone's first enquiry, through the booking process, a Guest's arrival and stay at the cottage and afterward, a follow-up to ensure that they enjoyed their stay. It makes me happy to know that our Guests have appreciated our work and have enjoyed their stay. The Willow Bank cottage is located in a very private and unique location on the water's edge of a sheltered bay of Lake Huron on the beautiful Northern Bruce Peninsula. What better place to rest, relax and isolate while escaping from the pressures of our lives during Covid-19? I would welcome your group back anytime to the Willow Bank cottage Lorry. Thanks again. Stay safe.

Lovely clean and cozy cottage, more like a home! Beds were comfortable, cottage was bright and kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed my morning coffee overlooking the water watching the fish jump, bunnies hopping and hummingbirds zipping in and out. Lots of fishing and frog catching to be done at the creeks edge, just don't forget your water shoes!! The creek was great for paddling in the kayaks or paddle boat while watching all the fish swimming below-the water was so clear. Close to Singing Sands and the town of Tobermory. Great to forget about Covid for awhile! Thanks Glenn for being such a great host!

Thank you Lorie for such a wonderful review. It always makes me happy and proud to read that my Guests have thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the Willow Bank cottage. We work hard to ensure that the cottage is clean and well prepared for all of our Guests. The Covid-19 Virus has disrupted everyone's life this year. Having a clean and comfortable place for our Guests to stay safe while relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Northern Bruce Peninsula has been something that we take very seriously. I would welcome you and your family back to the Willow Bank cottage anytime. Thanks again and please stay safe!!!

By far the best cottage experience ever. The cottage has plenty of privacy and stunning views from the deck and the lake front. Ample amount of space for a family to play and enjoy. Kayaking around the lake was beautiful. The cottage was clean with upgraded washrooms on both levels and had everything we needed. Camp fire by the lake at dark with beautiful sky above. Glenn went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of, he even allowed us to check in much earlier and check out late. If you are looking for a place to stay in Tobermory, then this is it. My family and friends enjoyed every part of it. We will definitely be back here. Thanks Glenn for making our stay comfortable and memorable.

Wow!!!I'm speechless. Joseph, thank you, for first wanting to stay at the Willow Bank cottage and secondly for taking the time to post such a wonderful online review. Your kind words made me feel that our behind-the-scene efforts were being recognized and appreciated by our guests. I am glad that you, your family and friends were able to enjoy the privacy and the beauty of this location. It really is a special place. There is no place like it anywhere else in the world. I feel it is a privilege to be able to call it mine. In the off-season, I concentrate on repairs and upgrades around the building any property. I provide my guests with the extra amenities that I would have wanted if I were staying at the Willow Bank cottage as a guest. I strive to provide that same experience that you wrote about for all my guests. I am truly honoured that you would want to return. Thank you again.
