This peaceful secluded log cottage circa 1920 is ideal for a couple who want to get away
but have "other things to do"
+Water Front View-(front yard is the Rideau River)
+commutable to Ottawa-(40 minutes away)
+near a village-(Merrickville is only 1 km away)

The cottage is nestled on a very peaceful 2-acre treed lot
It is a well-maintained fully equipped rustic cottage.
Although our 1920 Cottage is not a 5 star hotel it's charm & tranquility is 6 star.
It is only a 10 min walk into Historic Merrickville which prides itself with numerous shops !!
Merrickville is located on the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Its well-preserved 19th century architecture ,is the home to many restaurants, pubs, artist's studios, art galleries and unique country stores.
