Located in a serene and peaceful setting, this cottage is your perfect retreat for relaxation, fun, and adventure. Few minutes away to Awenda Provincial Park. Our cottage offers a quiet week away from the city.

After cottaging in different parts of the province for a few years, we have returned to Christine's place 3 summers now, and we always look forward to coming back. The cottage is simple but well appointed - and we always find it immaculately clean.

Christine is an exceptional host. She always answers questions quickly and ensures we have everything we need. For example, one year we forgot trash bags - and she had someone run a handful over to the cottage.

The private beach is sandy with a gentle grade, perfect for the kids. For us, this is a very special feature.

Awenda Provincial Park offers great afternoon exploration, and the we have found lovely day trips in the nearby towns.

Thanks to Christine for the many lovely memories!

Our family has been coming to this cottage for four years and will continue to do so - we love it so much! Christine is a fantastic host and keeps the cottage in fantastic shape. We come to the cottage to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and that's exactly what it delivers. Kids are out in the water almost the whole day. It's surprisingly warm and the it's always clear and shallow. Sunsets over the water are beautiful hues of pink and blue. Can't ask for more in a cottage get-away.

Très beau chalet bien situé. Le terrain et les environs sont exeptionelles. Si vous recherchez la nature et la tranquillité vous ne serez pas deçu. Les feux sur la plage avec les couchers de soleil étaient fabuleux. Christine et ses voisins étaient accueillants sans être dérangeants. Très belle vacances en famille je recommande à tous!

Our family of four just returned from a wonderful week at this cottage. I can't say enough positive things about our experience. First of all, Christine was warm and welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The cottage itself (and it's beachfront location) is absolutely wonderful. The cottage was spotless and fully equipped. Our kids really enjoyed the games, books and DVDs that were so thoughtfully provided. We enjoyed several days just lounging on the beach and then on cooler days did a few excursions in town (Discovery Harbour is worth a visit). If you are looking for a true "cottage" experience complete with sandy beaches, serenity and gorgeous sunsets (all for a price that is lower than you will find anywhere else in this area!) We just arrived home from our holiday here today and already miss se the peace and tranquility and the views. We had an amazing time and really lucked out when we chose this place. The views are amazing from both the large living room bay window and the kitchen. the open concept I loved as it made the place feel bigger even if it is only about 900 sq feet. The cottage was clean and we had every thing from dishes to utensils to a barbecue. The beach and water were amazing except for some gravel on th beach, but this happens because when rough weather hits the water washes it in. It is about 20 minutes to midland and Penetang which has all stores their that one needs. I would definitely come back here in a heartbeat and Christine and family were nice to talk to. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from it all. If you are looking for all the bells and whistles then this is not the cottage for you. Yes it is older but has that amazing rustic cottage feel. Thanks again to Christine, our holiday was truly relaxing and beautiful.
