| We stayed at Cedarbrae Cottage July 2021 and had a grand time. The cottage is impeccably clean and tidy and so well appointed that we brought way too much stuff. Call or email the owners if you are unsure of what to bring b/c the cottage has so much stuff. The view is spectacular, we encountered only ONE mosquito the entire week, we BBQ'd every day, we had fun photographing the nature all around the cottage and really liked the fact that the area is well treed making it feel more isolated than it really is. Amenities are only 4 minutes away from the cottage including Walmart, Tim Hortons, Zehrs, LCBO, Dollarama, Canadian Tire and many more and 3 beaches are just a few more minutes away on Lake Huron.

| This place was magical. The fireplace the centerpiece for many wonderful visits with friends. The patio overlooked the autumn colors. Staircase and upstairs charming and the outdoor shower a delight. I cant say enough good things about CedarBrae and the history of Benmiller.

| Our visit to this cabin was a family vacation for two adults and one 10 year old girl. We all LOVED this cabin. We went in the winter after a snow. It was wonderful just to stay inside and enjoy the wood stove and fireplace. Lots of good wood was provided. The views out the windows were beautiful. Sledding is good on the road out front. Lake Huron beaches and cute tourist town with shopping (Goderich) are minutes away. The river and hiking are right there. The kitchen is well equipped for most anything you want to cook on vacation. TV, stereo and internet work well. The host (Neil) was flexible and attentive, but non-intrusive. One of us lives in the northeast US and likes old houses. This one has a lot of charm. The only bathroom is upstairs and has a slanted ceiling so you have to sit down to shower. We thought maybe we wouldn't like this arrangement. but it turned out the bath/shower combination is very relaxing. It was one of our very best vacations EVER! We will try to come again.

| I planned this for months and the 3 of us devoured the weekend in a heart beat!, so the only treatment for that is to come again!! Picturesque views, fresh air and an appreciation to stay in a 166 yr old cottage. This unassuming cottage boasts a ton of charm and peace and quiet ...The pictures just don't do the cabin justice. Come an see for yourself, bring some wine, sit by the crackling fire and just relax. It's warm and cozy. Your problems seem to vanish away when you're in this piece/peace of Heaven. Neil, is an awesome host!! Thanks for letting us call your cottage 'our' cottage for the weekend. We are addicted!! We'll be back for more!! Richard, Eric and Wanda
