| There's something magical about Kirby's Cove, I spent the week discovering new things like the blackberry bush in the garden, the wild thyme growing amongst the rocks, the library as you climb up the stairs and the variety of birds that go by as you sit on on the top deck (we saw white heron, turkey vultures, and bald eagle, geese and of course: loons).
The cottage is very quaint and has a home-like feeling. The beds and pillows are comfy and the sitting areas on the main floor and the sun room are great to hang out in (should you not want to be on the deck staring at the beautiful lake all day, like I did).
The pictures online are accurate, it's a vintage home that continues to be well loved by the family and guests. The only downside (that didn't affect our family) is it's not a place for those who have mobility issues or have young children. There are stairs to the lake and a railing on one side. I looked at it as an advantage to getting some cardio work in. :0)
We loved our stay and intend to rebook next year.

| The cottage's view is perfect with a high up view to the lake. We enjoyed eating our meals whenever possible (even we did it under light rains:) ). There are many interesting animals/birds around the cottage (no worry, nothing bites there though): loons/deers/family of minks/herons/osprey feeding on a fish etc.
The cottage itself is very well equipped (with A/C, that is rare for cottages) and well maintained. It is like a home away from home. The owner is very very responsive to questions/requests.
I would highly recommended this cottage to anyone.

| A warm and inviting cottage which you can tell from the moment you walk in is a beloved family destination. The views are second to none and the lake offers clean water excellent for swimming. Add on to that the activities you can do with the kayaks, paddle boards and peddle boat provided there is no end to the fun for all age groups. At the end of the day relax in the hot tub. A wonderful location for a family vacation. Thank you for allowing us to share your piece of heaven.

| The first view of the cabin and then to the lake was a postcard. The inside was warm and welcoming. Everything you wanted in a week retreat to get away from the busy of life. From the first warm beverage on the dock at dawn to sundown campfire and smores, everything in between was just what my family needed. Thank you Kirby Cove for the memories of not only a summer but of a lifetime.

| Our family enjoyed three weeks at this charming cottage with all the amenities of home. Views of the lake are lovely. Beds were very comfortable and owners even had some air conditioning units and ceiling fans. Owners provided us with good information and were very helpful. Fishing was good as was the swimming. Overall, a wonderful family vacation and we would not hesitate to recommend this cottage.
