| This cottage is a true gem! It's beautifully and impeccably maintained on the inside as well as the outside. There's nothing like sitting on those Muskoka chairs in the morning and on a nice sunny day - it's serene and peaceful. The surrounding neighborhoods and people are very friendly. The cottage is also conveniently located to grocery stores as well as Port Carling. The owners are so very sweet and helpful - simply the best. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to be back!

| Chris + Bessie were great hosts: friendly, helpful, easygoing + generous. Communication was easy, clear + prompt from our initial inquiry right through to fast refund of security deposit afterwards.
The cottage was clean, spacious + comfortable. The location is superb: right on the gorgeous lakefront + good access to amenities (only 10 min to Mactier Foodland or 20 min to Parry Sound Walmart Supercentre/No Frills). We even made a day trip to Santa's Village in Bracebridge which is too out of the way from where we live.
The water truly is CRYSTAL CLEAR! Dad didn't have too much luck fishing, but both kids caught a bunch of small basses and are convinced they are now bona fide fishing experts. :) We had fun splashing around the shallow entry shore, jumping off the end of the dock or just lounging, going out on the lake in the canoe or kayak. The kids didn't even care it was an adult kayak - they still had amazing fun taking turns with it!
We enjoyed the flat grass area beside the cottage for lawn games we brought, campfires at the fire pit (luckily fire ban had lifted when we visited) and eating outside on the patio.
Though it was our first time renting from Chris + Bessie and at the time there was no review yet, this cottage turned out to be everything it advertises to be and we had a fantastic 2-week vacation making memories for a lifetime!

| Chris is an amazing host! Perfect cottage for a family getaway on pristine lake. Cottage is equipped with great kitchen utensils, the views are second to none. Grounds are kept in immaculate condition. I will definitely be rebooking. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven. Can't wait to return.
