| I've been renting cottages for 10 years, and I've never experienced a beach like the one on Negek Lake. It's absolutely incredible.
The cottage itself is beautiful and has a real family feel to it. The craftsmanship really stood out — the floors are over 40 years old, hand-screwed and doweled, and still perfectly solid with not a single squeak. I was really impressed with the woodwork throughout.
There's plenty of room for everyone, with four bedrooms: one with four beds and the others with two beds each. The main living area is spacious, and the kitchen has lots of room as well.
But the highlight is definitely the beach. The sand is all natural and deep — about two feet in some places — and it stretches right out into the lake. It's soft, clean, and perfect for walking straight into the water. Truly a special spot for families to enjoy together.

| The location of this cottage is fabulous! The proximity to the lake is wonderful, with a sandy bottom over a large area and a gradual slope that is perfect for children. The cottage is well equipped with flotation gear — there are several life jackets in different sizes, two paddle boards, and a canoe.
The cottage is definitely very rustic, which is part of its charm, but keep in mind you'll need to bring your own sheets and dish towels.
We had a truly wonderful week and are already looking forward to coming back!

| Billy was super responsive and nice in all contact and a pleasure to deal with.
We were 2 families with 5 kids combined aged 5-12. The cottage is very comfortable if you are looking for a rustic place to relax. The beds were comfortable, surprisingly good water pressure, really excellent little beach and swimming with sandy bottom and several floaties for use with 1 canoe. Also lots of life jackets for all ages. 2 fridges have lots of room for storage for all 9 of us.
We were one of their first public renters and gave feedback about the following improvements that would enhance the rental experience. If those things were to be done it's a easy 5 star rental.
Currently cottage has very old aluminum pots and pans which need to be upgraded. Bbq heat plate is rusted through and needs replacing. Only 1 boat limits group outings unless you bring your own boats.
All in all we had a great time and Billy couldn't have been nicer to deal with.
