| Beautiful, charming, new cottage! The owner greeted us shortly after arrival and gave us a brief tour of the property. We highly recommend this property and we will be happy to stay again!

| We had to travel to Verona for a family event and booked the Sugar Bush cottage for a four nights stay.
With fresh memories in mind, we wanted to write a detailed review however, after reading the reviews from the previous guests, there is not much else we can add to.
Great relaxing stay in a quiet and clean environment.
After booking, the communication was excellent, John sent us a very detailed information package in what to expect during our stay, how to get there, things to do around.
After our arrival John paid us a visit to ensure we settled in and answer any questions we might have.
It was a pleasure meeting John and learning about the cottage, the area, and the neighbors.
You could see pride of ownership and desire to continuously improve the facilities. As mentioned
by other guests, the cottage is spotless and well appointed with everything needed for a nice stay. Just before our arrival John completed the build of a new patio with all the amenities for a nice time spent outdoors (patio table with chairs and umbrella, coffee tables with comfy seats)
Checkout was also a breeze, John made sure to return promptly the deposit and also send a follow-up email to ensure that we were happy with our stay.
Thank you John for hosting us and for the great time we had at the cottage. Definitely on the list for "will come back"

| We rented this cottage for a weekend in February to go ice fishing. Although the fishing was not a great success (due to equipment issues on our part, we were assured by the locals out fishing too that the lake has plenty of fish), the cottage was absolutely wonderful! The pictures really don't do it justice. It is very warm and inviting (and wonderful to come home to after a cold day on the ice). The view of the lake is beautiful. The whole cottage was spotless and has everything you could need for your stay. New kitchen with top of the line appliances. John is a wonderful host, he was there to greet us when we arrived and was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back next year!

| John's cottage was absolutely amazing! It was exactly how the pictures were. The cottage was very clean and was very easy to navigate to. A few days prior to our stay, John had sent as an email regarding all the information for our stay such as where grocery stores were, restaurants, and rules for the cottage. This was really helpful as it helped us plan our groceries and daily activities. When we first arrived, John came 30 min later to greet us and give us a tour of the place. He was helpful with answering our questions and let us know what to do prior to leaving. The cottage was very spacious for the 5 of us. The backyard was also really spacious and there was a nice firepit that we were able to use nightly. The waterfront was amazing as well. Overall I would recommend this to my friends and definitely stay again in the future! Thanks for your hospitality John, we really appreciate it and hope to be back soon!

| Very clean cottage and in a great location. We rented the cottage for a long weekend and the cottage had everything we needed. The lawn is very spacious, maintained well, has an excellent firepit area. A perfect size for our large family to enjoy the outdoor space. John shared all the information before our arrival to the cottage and made sure we had an enjoyable stay at the cottage. Thanks John! We will be back soon.
