| We spent almost a week at this cottage with my family and we had the best time. The cottage is clean and beautiful and the view is AMAZING. We were close to all the activities we wanted to do but had a calm place to go back to and rest. Lilian was a great host and very organized providing me with all the information we needed and was available to provide assistance if I had any questions during our stay. My mom is really picky with anywhere we go to and she even was happy with the location and enjoyed her time as she had WiFi to entertain herself while we were hiking. Thank you so much for letting us use your cottage Lilian. We will for sure be back next year :)

| Our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 young kids) had an amazing time at the cottage! The location was perfect - close enough to Tobermory but also close enough to Sauble beach and Wiarton where the kids enjoyed the Wiarton Bluewater park. The views of the sunset and the lake in the back were BEAUTIFUL! Our kids enjoyed throwing rocks and splashing around in the shallow water there. I agree with the other reviewer - water shoes is a must as the shoreline is rocky.
The cottage was very spacious, comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Lilian was a super host - she checked in on us several times to make sure that we were comfortable and was quick to answer any questions we had during our stay.
Although we were initially concerned about the high security deposit, it was returned without any issues within 3 days of us leaving.

| Our group of 4 adults & 3 young children had a lovely time at Lilian's cottage. The view of the lake was gorgeous, the gardens were beautiful, & the property is very well tended, spacious, private & quiet.
Having pillows, bed linens & comforters provided was very convenient & everything was very clean. The wifi was excellent & using our laptop we streamed a World Cup game to the tv. The deck was a beautiful place to relax & enjoy the view. The deck stairs leading to the lawn are currently in need of replacement & are not usable. This worked for our group as they are tastefully blocked off so the kids could enjoy the deck without the adults worrying about them running down to the lake unsupervised. The shoreline is rocky & inexpensive water shoes were a great investment for this trip. The kids enjoyed looking for crayfish before bed & one adult in our group would often go down to the water later at night with a flashlight to see the many crayfish, minnows, small fish & frogs.
While the security deposit is quite high, it's understandable given previous renters obviously behaved very disrespectfully. We received our deposit back within 72 hours of leaving. Lilian was very quick to respond to any questions during the booking process, she checked in with us during our stay & was quick to communicate after our check out.
We had a wonderful trip!

| We had a great time at the cottage with our family. The place is quiet, secluded and with warn beautiful lake Huron sitting in a private-like bay that is ideal for kayaking, stand up paddling etc.
The house is big and comfortable with all of the infrastructure you need to enjoy with your family. We definitely recommend this cottage for families looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat in the picturesque Bruce Peninsula!
