Claire

Dan's chalet is exceptional! We selected it for an extended family get together half way between Ottawa and Toronto. The 6 spacious and well-appointed rooms were appreciated by all. Common areas were very comfortable and roomy. We had two little ones with us so the built-in baby gates were an excellent added touch. The hot tub and view over the lake was divine. Would definitely return!

This was our first time staying at GlenCanmon Retreat. Six of us stayed in cottage #2 . I felt like a kid at Christmas when we pulled onto the property, it was stunning inside and out. Dan was wonderful to deal with and we definitely will book again in the future.

It was just paradise. There is nothing negative I can say about it.
Firstly Dan is always there for you.You just send an email and it is answered promptly.
My grandchildren fished, swam,canoed and kayaked. Dan has included so many water activities that we had a hard time getting them in for supper. The cottage itself is spacious,and well equipped. We had some torridly hot weather and we were very appreciative of the air conditioning. We have been home for two days and we already miss it.

GlenCannon Retreat #2 on Lake Mazinaw has become a wonderful family tradition - we have been staying at this property since 2020 and each year seems to get better. Having a spot to accommodate our entire family with the luxuries of this cottage is a bonus - there is something for everyone! Dan is always available for questions and you can tell he takes great pride in the property to ensure everyone's stay is top notch! Highly recommend any of the GlenCannon retreats!

This was our second stay. Our group included 8 adults and 3 children ( the youngest 3 years old). The weather was great and we enjoyed the beach with paddle boards and water play for the kids. The floating dock was excellent for the fathers to relax on Father's Day.

Since our last stay the beach fire pit has been upgraded to include a stone surround and several more very comfortable Muskoka chairs. They are great for watching the grandkids play in the water, and just relaxing.

The cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen was big enough for a few cooks to work together. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds and nicely decorated.

There are several comfortable couches in both the main floor and basement sitting areas. Great for movie nights and games.

This is an amazing cottage and property with everything you might need!

We're lucky to be renting again next year. Yay!! It's such a wonderful place to enjoy time with family!
