Having rented many cottages over the years, I can honestly say that Gunter Lake Cottage is one of the best-equipped cottages in Southern Ontario. The swimming area and docks are lovely, and the cottage's large kitchen/living area is well-suited for large families.

Wow what an incredible cottage! Eileen had everything one would need- from linens to extra supplies, while keeping the dogs in mind as well. The property had so much to offer with yard games and numerous watercraft options. No one was bored as they fished off the dock, sunbathed on the floating dock or cruised the lake on the paddle boards/kayaks. On the rainy days the cottage was well equipped with board games, video games and our favourite, skee-ball! The days were busy with all the activities, followed by nights around the campfire making s'mores. Thank you Eileen for a memorable vacation!

Cottage was very clean with lots of room upstairs and down. The cottage decor and fireplace made it a very cozy setting. Loved the open concept kitchen, dining room and living room. Able to interact with everyone. Lots of water toys to try out and great beach area for kids. Lake was crystal clear and beautiful. So peaceful paddling on the lake in the kayaks. Nights were spent sitting by the fire enjoying a beverage and roasting marshmellows. Could hear the call of the loons off in the distance. The highlight of the weekend was sitting on the dock under the amazing night sky. It was stunning. So many stars and the milky way was so vivid. Eileen provided lots of detailed information and very helpful. Was a great experience and highly recommend if looking for a family cottage getaway. Will definately be going back next summer!

Was very nice to walk in and have roasting sticks and marshmallows welcoming us on the dinning room table. The kids really had fun roasting the marshmallows around the fire at night. Eileen responded immediately to any questions I texted her about before going and while I was at the cottage. There are no oars for the aluminum boat but there are paddles you can use. Fishing was good even right off the dock where my husband caught a 4 lb bass. Great swimming for the younger kids as water doesn't get deep quickly. My family and I really enjoyed our week stay.

Great cottage and waterfront. Kids friendly for my 1 1/2 and 5 year old grandkids. Eileen was very help with a few questions we had during the week. Kitchen is well equipped and the 2 fridges were great.
