| My wife and I stayed, with our dog, for 3 weeks this summer. We had some overnight visitors, including my 99 yr. old mother in-law. The place is thoughtfully and fully equipped. We've rented many cottages over the years and know cottages well. It was so nice not to have to bring anything other than a few kitchen things and my French press for coffee. The coffee machine at the cottage came in handy for our guests. There were quite a number of little things we noticed during our stay that were included such as; the emergency night lights and USB charging stations in each bedroom. Also appreciated was the availability of decent internet, streaming services, a decent TV, excellent sofa with power recliners, good reliable plumbing and electricity and several modern kitchen conveniences. The BBQ was very clean and serviceable. 2 tanks of propane are provided which is great. Summerside, where you go to shop , is an easy 15 minute drive. The views and the quiet are remarkable. I really enjoyed the quiet; slept like a log. Our only issue, were the mosquitoes! I think the regular rainfall in PEI this year is to blame. PEI always has mosquitoes but this year is a bumper crop.

Réponse proprio: Hi Ian Thank you for the comments and the positive review and yes the mosquitoes are an issue this year. As mentioned in another post, we have had the property sprayed the last couple years and it worked very well in minimizing the amount of mosquitoes but they only sprayed in mid June and late August this year despite repeated requests to get them out. The amount and timing of the rainfall this year has not helped either both with the mosquito population and the company's ability to spray. Glad you found everything inside the cottage to your liking. We have added items over the last couple of years to try and add some modern conveniences and provide everything you will need for your stay. Thanks again. | |

Thank you for a lovely week at a beautiful cottage. It's really amazing and the view is beautiful. We had a couple of pit fire that was super nice. The only issue was the muskitos and a lot. The beach was a little disappointing but nice to walk on. The living room was so so comfy we enjoy every minute of it.

Réponse proprio: Hi Brigitte Thank you for the feed back and I apologize for the delay in responding. I just saw this post today as I am not on the website that much this time of year. The mosquitoes have been an issue this year. The last couple of years we have kept them in check because we have had the property sprayed but the company only showed in June this year and not again until the end of August (this week) despite repeated requests for them to come. I have their assurance that they will be there regularly for the rest of this year and next. Thanks again for your feedback. | |

| Thank you Mark for sharing your slice of heaven with us. Your cottage had everything we needed, comfortable, very clean and welcoming. Thank you for the welcome gift. We would highly recommend your place and would like to return some day. It is very private and yet so close to Summerside if we needed anything. Your neighbours are terrific as well. | Wonderful fully equipped cottage --- more of a home. Welcoming gift was delicious! Decor was very nice and certainly suited the location. What can I say about the views & location --- holy there is so much --- stunning, beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, on and on. Walking along waterfront when tide is out was great, finding many shells, different colour rocks -- even a heart one so I know someone up above what smiling down that we were there -- many jelly fish. A stair or two down to waterfront would be an added bonus but not much of an issue without.
Be proud of what you offer to vacationers .... we were so very happy we stayed at your place. Thanks.
