| We had a great time at Ridgestone Cottage!
We were a family of 4 and a family of 5 staying together - 4 adults and 5 kids, ages 6, 8, 11, 14 and 15.
Lots of things to keep us busy:
Entry to the lake was great. I thought from the pictures it would be a long staircase down to the water, but it wasn't - less than 15 steps in total, I think. We mostly swam from the dock - but there is also a shallow entry area. The lake is clear and lovely to swim in!
There was one canoe (that we put 3 people in), a 2 person kayak, 2 single kayaks and a paddle board. It was great - because we could all go on adventures together! There's also a marina a 20 minute paddle away - so we went to visit multiple times to get snacks and ice cream. It was a perfect little trip. There were lots of life jackets of varying sizes, as well as a puddle jumper - so that worked out as well.
The kids play structure was just the right size for the little kids - so they got some outside play as the grown ups sat in the red chairs and chatted.
Kitchen was well stocked, WiFi and showers worked well and people spent a lot of time lounging on the couch. The top level outdoor balcony was good for some quiet time and the main outdoor area was good for hanging around.
All in all - we had a great time. Everyone found some things that they enjoyed and we all had a blast. We would definitely go back!

| My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Ridgestone Cottage on Paudash Lake. The property was very well kept and everything went according to plan. The host was very attentive to any messages before during and after our trip. Thanks for having us and we hope to visit your cottage again next year!

| What an amazing cottage!! Excellent location on a quiet lane. Our host was responsive and kind, checking in to see how we were doing. We enjoyed sunsets, and great swimming/fishing right off the dock. Many hours were spent in the kayaks and the canoe and the boys caught 19" and 15" bass at their favourite "honey hole" on the lake! The cottage was expertly appointed in all areas. We ate in often and were so thankful for the thoroughness of our hosts in setting up the kitchen. The cottage was modern, bright and clean--a pleasure to be in even on rainy days! Great trail right off the lane for walking your pet as well...an added bonus! We highly recommend this cottage for the discerning cottager who is looking for more of a "home away from home" experience. This one is brilliant!! Treasured memories made here :)

| Beautiful cottage, we enjoyed meals on the deck overlooking scenic Paudash lake, spent most days by the dock enjoying the waterfront. Great lake for boating, skiing, tubing and explorer's. thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 2 families plenty of room, would highly recommend.

| Ridgestone Cottage is such a beautiful place inside and out; exactly as pictured! We were pleased at how clean and well maintained it was. It had all the essentials and comforts of home.We loved the spacious dock where we spent most of our time. The fishing was great fun. Everyone caught at least one worth a photo op! We had the use of the canoes and kayaks to explore beautiful Paudash lake and there were lots of life jackets at our disposal.We had great weather and were able to enjoy our meals outdoors on the lakeside deck, with a clear view of the lake..It only rained one day but there were loads of movies and games to keep us entertained.The fire pit was really well thought out. We spent all our evenings there making s'mores and trading stories. The Marina is just a short drive down the road where we were able to launch the sea-doos we brought. They provide bait and have a small grocery store. The ice cream is amazing! If you are up for a short drive the actual Kawartha Dairy is a few miles up the road this side of Bancroft.Their ice-cream is well worth the drive.
The owner was kind and quick to answer any questions. He even very thoughtfully texted us during our stay, to see how we were doing.
Everthing about this cottage was enjoyable. We had a fun filled week and would not hesitate to return! Thank you for having us.
