| Great rental! Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay here, the house was clean and comfortable and furnished with good quality and comfortable furniture and everything we needed (kitchen fully stocked, nice towels and linens, games, cleaning supplies, laundry/dryer etc). We really appreciated that we could just walk in and enjoy every second of our holiday. Our top memories from our time here were: the beach, especially at lowtide when there is so much to explore and safe playing for little ones in the clean sand that you can walk for miles on; and the bike trails - a side trail to get to the Confederation trail is super close to the cottage and our teenage son loved the challenging mountain biking at the nearby Gairloch trail. Darryl was a fantastic host, quick to respond to email questions, friendly and takes great care of the property. Thanks for having us.

| We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The communication was great and the cottage was beautiful and perfectly clean. It has a well quipped, big kitchen and big dining table, you are able to cook and eat even with a big family.
We enjoyed the quiet beach just a little walk from the cottage. From there we also walked at low tide to the lighthouse.

| Can't say enough about the Aft Cottage!
From the moment we arrived Darryl was more than accommodating, as someone who has stayed at many cottages around the maritimes, Darryl is by far the best and most accommodating owner/maintainer. The cottage is a short walk to the beach, but there is a nice beach wagon available to shuttle your cooler and toys to and from.
The cottage was spotless on arrival and probably full of sand when we left (sorry Darryl)
There was plenty of room for our 4 adults and 3 children (8, 6 and 5) and there wasn't a thing that we needed that wasn't already there?except bug spray for our evening fires, and Darryl even had that!
The power went out unexpectedly, Darryl had a generator hooked up within minutes and we were oblivious to the unforeseen incident.
Tilley the chicken made a few visits and the kids really enjoyed her company!
It was hard getting the kids off the miles of sand dunes, collecting sand dollars and sea shells, the water is incredible this time of year as well!
Checkout was at 10:00 but our ferry (5 minute drive) wasn't until 1:30, but Darryl allowed us to stay on the beach until we had to leave for the ferry, just another example of his amazing accommodating nature.
Thanks for the great week Darryl, we WILL be back!

| Enjoyed a great week here (Aug 7 -14, 2022) with the family. Darryl was really accommodating & very responsive & his recommendations for local spots for food were awesome (I could live on Treena's seafood chowder/was bummed they were out on our last day)
The cottage was clean, comfortable & a great spot - really peaceful, great view of the private beach & short <1min. walk straight from the cottage to the sand with beach chairs & beach umbrellas/tables & kayaks/life jackets - a great set up that we enjoyed most days!
We enjoyed watching seals swim by & got to see lots of seals bask in the sun, just off a rock peak beside the lighthouse.
Even with 3 other cottages on the property, there's lots of space & privacy. We appreciated the washer/dryer & extra powder room upstairs!
Loved having my family (incl. 14 & 20 yo!!) off electronics for most of the trip....collecting clams, crabs and starfish, camp fires and playing family games in the evenings (it's amazing how monopoly in someone else's cupboard is more fun than the one you have at home-lol!)...The girls also loved making friends with the 2 chickens who visited occasionally :)
We enjoyed a few trips to local towns - horseback riding in Brudenell, Three Rivers Kayaking tour, Starfish Hunting in Georgetown, Brudenell's miniature petting farm, a few meals/drinks at craft breweries in Montague (Bogside & Copper Bottom) & a few fresh lobsters from Captain Nate's in Murray Harbour

| We enjoyed every minute at this cottage. From our time on the private beach (very short walk from the cottage) to relaxing breakfasts on the deck and cozy campfires.
The beach is calm & quiet. We shared the space with three other families (people staying at the other 3 cottages) but had our own private area.
Darryl was welcoming and able to answer any questions quickly.
The cottage was clean and had all the amenities necessary (very well organized).
We relaxed and kayaked daily- even kayaking with a couple of seals!!!!
We are grateful!
