| Absolute Gem! Very peaceful and private, perfect getaway! Elizabeth is such a gracious host! The cottage feels like you're right at home. Very well equipped, had everything we needed and then some! The views are to die for. Kayaks and pedal boat were perfect to tour the lake. Make sure to stop at blueberry island! Highly recommend and would definitely book again, thank you Elizabeth for sharing your little piece of heaven!

| My wife and I stayed at the cottage for 3 days. It was my second stay and her first. She loved every minute of it and wants to go back every year. Elizabeth is the best host you can ask for.

| I want to thank Elizabeth for welcoming us to her lovely Stone cottage ...
Upon arriving I quickly realized that I would have the perfect Vacation and brake from the hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto ! At times overwhelming !
I desperately needed to recharge , unwind and be in contact with nature , and so we did .
My son and I had a wonderful time ...it was all we were hoping for and much MUCH more !.
The private rustic cottage was perfect , we had a well-equipped kitchenette, outdoor barbeque , a stone fireplace , beautiful balcony from where we admired more than once the vibrant colours of the sunset , screened porch , and all the tools to fully enjoy the lake : canoe , kayaks , peddle boat , floating devices etc.
We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area and all its numerous highking trails ( we were on a mission ) the more the merrier !
The drive to Algonquin Provincial Park was breathtaking .

| My husband and I LOVED our stay at the Stone Cottage! It was such a cozy place to rest for the week with all the amenities you need! Elizabeth was an amazing host, checking in with any updates or if we needed anything. She went above and beyond! We loved walking on the gravel road, swimming in the lake, kayaking, bbqing on the porch and taking a nap in the daybed in the screened in porch. We would recommend the Stone Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet trip away right on the lake.

| I love the Stone Cottage! It feels rustic but has enough modern comforts to make things easy.
Since the lake was still frozen, I didn't get into or onto the water, but it was a pleasure to just sit by the fire, step outside (in the crunchy snow) to enjoy the quiet, and drive to some of the excellent (also snowy) local hiking trails, including Mikisew Provincial Park, Moose Mountain Trail, and the School Bus Pond Loop.
Elizabeth was a very helpful and accessible host, but did not get in the way of my solitude. There is lots of good local info in the binder. That's how I found the trails I hiked.
I hope to return when the weather is warm to experience the stone cottage and Eagle Lake to their fullest.
