| We just finished a week at this cottage, and we truly can't express enough how lovely our stay was. We feel completely refreshed and relaxed, and are already sad to be heading back to normal life!
The wraparound deck was one of our favourite features. It gave us a beautiful view of the morning sunrise, and if we moved around to the other side, we could still enjoy the sunset. We were lucky enough to have a few cooler nights, so we could sleep with the windows open, but having the air conditioning in the bedroom was amazing as well. We both slept so comfortably the entire week.
The cottage was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and anything we happened to forget was already there. We had so much fun making use of all the water toys, including the paddle boards, boats, kayaks, and canoes and even had a few friendly games of cornhole. There was plenty to keep us entertained right at the cottage. We also loved how convenient the location was. We went into town a couple of nights for ice cream, and the short boat ride across, along with the easy access to town, made everything feel so accessible while still giving us that peaceful cottage experience.
The incinerator toilet was something new for us, but it was surprisingly lovely and very convenient! The outhouse was also exceptionally clean and sanitary.
Overall, we had an amazing week and couldn't have asked for a better stay.

| The perfect lakeside paradise! The cottage is beautifully maintained, spacious, and comes with modern amenities and creature comforts that make you feel right at home.
The open-concept layout and outdoor seating made it easy for our friends to gather, share meals and play games all weekend long.
Being right on the water was easily everyone's favourite part. The adirondack chairs on the dock were the best way to start and end each day - and for cannonballs.

| We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The space was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with a full kitchen setup, which made meals super easy. The host was a great communicator throughout our visit, always quick to respond and helpful when needed.
Mississippi lake is absolutely beautiful—huge, which is perfect for exploring. If you plan to visit, make sure you're familiar with using a boat because the lake is big enough that you'll want to get out and enjoy it properly.
Another great perk is how close it is to Carleton Place. It's only a short drive if you need to run errands, grab groceries, or enjoy some local shopping and restaurants.
Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Highly recommend.

| We had an amazing time in this cottage. Located on the small island not far from the land (around 150m away) make it feel private and tranquil. Cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for the comfortable stay. Owner is very supportive and easy on communication.
We highly recommend this place if you plan your get away on Mississippi Lake.
