We had such a wonderful stay at Brown Oaks Cottage this summer! I visited with my husband and our two kids for a week, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and incredibly clean—you can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into every detail.

The lake was warm and perfect for swimming, and we loved spending evenings by the campfire. One of the highlights for our kids was the paddleboat—they had an absolute blast on it every day. There's also a great sandy beach just 10 minutes away, which made for a perfect family outing.

Overall, it was a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable getaway. We would definitely recommend Brown Oaks Cottage and would love to come back again!

Fantastic stay. Beautiful location right on the lake. Brown Oaks is a lovely, very well-equipped, tastefully decorated cottage that can accommodate a family. It has a cozy and inviting open concept living room/dining area with a large table for eating/playing games etc. There is a comfortable seating area with a large TV. There is a great deck area and easy access to the water (not too many stairs). Rocky bottom lake offers refreshing swimming without weeds. We caught pan fish right off the dock! There is a boat launch close by and a lovely sandy beach a short drive away.The owners were very personable and amazing to deal with. Great place to relax and connect with the people who are important to you.
