| We had an amazing week at Amanda and Blair's lovely cottage on Bob's Lake! It was the perfect getaway for our family of five. The cottage was very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the week. The large windows that face the lake were a real highlight — the lake view is incredible, even from inside. We loved being able to sit and enjoy the scenery no matter what the weather was outside.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, which made preparing meals for our family so easy. Groceries were also conveniently located just 15–20 minutes away.
A particularly thoughtful feature for us were all the railings down to the dock. My mother-in-law has mobility issues, and she really appreciated having the extra support and being able to safely enjoy the waterfront with the rest of us.
And the fishing was AMAZING! Our kids caught close to 20 fish on our very first evening, which made for some wonderful family memories. We also had a great time using the pedal boat and canoe to explore the lake.
Our Portuguese Water Dog LOVED the sandy beach area and shallow entry to the water.
Amanda and Blair were wonderful hosts. I reached out with a few questions during our stay, and they were really helpful and quick to get back to us.
Overall, it was a fantastic family vacation in a beautiful, spacious and comfortable cottage. We made so many great memories. Thank you, Amanda and Blair for sharing your special cottage with us :)

| Thank you Amanda and Blair. We had a wonderful week at the cottage. Great weather ,lots of swimming, sunning, Kayaking and fishing. The cottage was just what we were looking for and the sunroom and deck were terrific for relaxing and reading our books.

| What a jewel! Beautiful cottage with lots of space for the entire family ( including our pups). Our family enjoyed swimming, fishing and exploring the area with the Kyaks provided. Nature at its finest! We watched Osprey and loons ( with their baby) while sitting on the dock. Highly recommend! The Romain family

| Canada Day Week at Under the Oaks Cottage – A Perfect Getaway
We spent Canada Day week at Under the Oaks Cottage and had an incredible time! The property is absolutely beautiful—spacious, well-kept, and offers a great mix of both sun and shade throughout the day. Whether we wanted to relax in the sunshine or cool off under the trees, there was always the perfect spot to unwind.
The fishing was fantastic—lots of fun for all skill levels and definitely a highlight of our stay. It's also a very dog-friendly property, which made things so much easier and more enjoyable for our whole family. Plenty of space both indoors and out, making it perfect for groups or families looking to spread out and truly relax.
We'd absolutely recommend Under the Oaks to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway. We're already thinking about returning!

| This property is stunning, and the view you have from anywhere on the property or inside the cottage is breathtaking. This is our first visit to Under the Oaks, Blair and Amanda answered all our questions to a T prior to check in, everything was smooth sailing. We did experience a very hot 40 Deg. + week and due to the amount of shade from the massive oak trees around the cottage, the interior of the cottage stayed reasonably cool and comfortable, additionally, fans were supplied in each bedroom and common areas if required. We brought our boat to enjoy the lake and some fishing, Fishing was hot for Pike and Walleye during our stay and we were able to enjoy a great shore lunch on the firepit. Firewood is provided at a cost, (Hardwood) no cracking and flying ambers around the pit.... The view from the firepit at night was stunning with the sun setting in the backdrop. Ample amount of chairs and seating provided whether on the deck or down at the waterfront. Lots of toys available for use, Kayaks singles and doubles, along with a canoe is provided for guests use. Lastly, tons of grassy area for family games. We will definitely be back next summer to enjoy this outstanding property. Keep up the great work! Thanks again for a very memorable stay!
