| Canada Day Week at Under the Oaks Cottage – A Perfect Getaway
We spent Canada Day week at Under the Oaks Cottage and had an incredible time! The property is absolutely beautiful—spacious, well-kept, and offers a great mix of both sun and shade throughout the day. Whether we wanted to relax in the sunshine or cool off under the trees, there was always the perfect spot to unwind.
The fishing was fantastic—lots of fun for all skill levels and definitely a highlight of our stay. It's also a very dog-friendly property, which made things so much easier and more enjoyable for our whole family. Plenty of space both indoors and out, making it perfect for groups or families looking to spread out and truly relax.
We'd absolutely recommend Under the Oaks to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway. We're already thinking about returning!

| This property is stunning, and the view you have from anywhere on the property or inside the cottage is breathtaking. This is our first visit to Under the Oaks, Blair and Amanda answered all our questions to a T prior to check in, everything was smooth sailing. We did experience a very hot 40 Deg. + week and due to the amount of shade from the massive oak trees around the cottage, the interior of the cottage stayed reasonably cool and comfortable, additionally, fans were supplied in each bedroom and common areas if required. We brought our boat to enjoy the lake and some fishing, Fishing was hot for Pike and Walleye during our stay and we were able to enjoy a great shore lunch on the firepit. Firewood is provided at a cost, (Hardwood) no cracking and flying ambers around the pit.... The view from the firepit at night was stunning with the sun setting in the backdrop. Ample amount of chairs and seating provided whether on the deck or down at the waterfront. Lots of toys available for use, Kayaks singles and doubles, along with a canoe is provided for guests use. Lastly, tons of grassy area for family games. We will definitely be back next summer to enjoy this outstanding property. Keep up the great work! Thanks again for a very memorable stay!

| Great cottage on a beautiful lake. The cottage is the perfect blend of rustic and modern. You feel like you are at a cottage, while still having modern amenities.
The cottage is very comfortable and welcoming, as it has a nice sunroom separate from the main area of the cottage.
The dock and waterfront are amazing. The dock is spacious, and the beach is awesome.
There is good fishing right off the dock, and there are several fishing spots nearby.
Plenty of wildlife to witness, and we were serenated by the loons each night.
Already re-booked for the summer and fall.
Thanks to Amanda and Blair as amazing hosts. Very attentive and prompt in responding. Not that there were many questions. The cottage is as advertised, and all we had to do was unpack and enjoy.
I would highly recommend this cottage, whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway from the city, fishing, or a family holiday.
It really has something for everyone.

| We have rented this cottage on Bob's Lake a few times now and each time our experience has been absolutely perfect. The cottage is clean, comfortable & well stocked and has an amazing view over the lake. The sturdy dock is great for easy fishing and the small beach and shallow entry are good for kids and dogs. We make good use of the fire pit near the beach, and enjoy exploring with the kayaks and canoes. The neighbourhood is nice for walking dogs, and wi-fi/internet access is a bonus. The owners are friendly, helpful, and responsive and the whole check-in/check-out procedure is quick and easy. We can't wait to go back again!

| This waterfront cottage exceeded all our expectations! The views were absolutely stunning and created a serene, intimate atmosphere. We felt completely safe and at ease during our stay. The dock was impressively well-maintained, making it perfect for enjoying the water. The spacious beach leading out to the water was a standout feature ideal for relaxing or exploring. We couldn't have asked for a better retreat and can't wait to return!
