| Slice of paradise! Our family of 5 (2 adults, mother-in-law & 2 teens), stayed for 1 week. Although Mother Nature did not cooperate and give us sunny weather all week, we had more than enough to do at the cottage and surrounding area.
In the surrounding area, we hiked the Burk's Falls trail, went to the Screaming Heads (a favourite!) and enjoy bowling & billiards at RiverBowl (amazing vibe & owners!). We also walked around Huntsville, and had the BEST pizza at Katrine Pizza (5 mins from the cottage, but call your order in, they are very busy)!
At the cottage, it was fully equipped for BBQ & cooking. We were able to get 2 campfires at the fire pit, and the chairs surrounding it were very comfortable. The paddle board, pedal boat and kayaks were all enjoyed. But we had the most fun on the water trampoline! There are comfortable chairs to sit in on the dock and just take in the beauty of the lake. The lake is very clean and since it is small it is pretty warm. The cottage also has a hot tub to warm up in case the lake is too cold for you, or to sit in while it's raining out!
There is a hill up to the cottage that you need to walk up & down to get to the lake, and a small hillside path to get to the water. All of these are manageable; my very active mother-in-law just went a little slower on them.
The views from the cottage are breathtaking! Since the balconies all face North, we enjoyed sunrise and sunset over the lake and a plethora of stars. Thank you for hosting us!

| We just returned from a weeklong stay and we loved every moment.! The views from all decks were amazing. The cottage was clean and spacious. The walk from the cottage to the lake was short, but a bit of a climb back up, so a tad tricky for the elders. It didn't stop them though! The dock was perfect, lots of shade under the trees, but extended out far enough to sit in the sun as well. We enjoyed all the water fun, the slide, the boats, the SUP but the highlight for my kids was the water trampoline! The water was clear and the fishing from the dock was great! Would 100% stay again!

| We stayed at this cottage June 21-28 2024. We had a great time even though the weather wasn't great. The cottage was spacious and clean. All the amenities were working. The view of the lake from the cottage was glorious. The only thing I wish it had was an electric outlet at the dock so I could charge my trolling motor battery.

| We had a fantastic time at this cottage! The property is large and beautifully landscaped, with a lovely fire pit and easy access to the lake. The decor is warm and welcoming, and the premises are spotlessly clean. The long views up the lake are truly impressive. We made unforgettable family memories by the lake and definitely plan to return. The stand-up paddle board and kayaks provided endless fun at the dock. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

| My family wanted a weekend getaway to celebrate Father's Day and we were not disappointed. The cottage had a recent cosmetic upgrade which made it feel light and open. The views down the lake were beautiful and this fishing was superb. My kids kept reeling them in right off the dock! It was a great weekend and we would live to return for longer
