Our family of five adults and two children (three generations) have just enjoyed a wonderful week of boating, swimming, fishing and playing at Juniper Cottage.

Sheila was a great host, ensuring that we had everything we needed and even left us a lovely bottle of wine. Sheila stayed in contact with us and was quick to respond to every question.

Paugh Lake is astonishing! Fantastic sunsets right from the cottage dock! The fishing was fun with us constantly catching medium-sized bass (even right off the cottage dock).

The cottage provided plenty of space for our family dinners and lounging (watching baseball). The family consensus was that the beds were all comfy. The cottage overall was very clean and the kitchen provided everything we needed for meals.

The children enjoyed the small sandy beach and a hammock/swing that our three year old grand-daughter could not get enough of.

The substantial dock at the cottage provided a great place to tie-up our 16.5 foot boat and made it easy for young and old to get in and out of the boat. The dock was also where we put our deck chairs and enjoyed the sun before plunging back into the water.

The best recommendation I could give is “Would we come back ”. In a heart beat!

I love this cottage. Taking a boat over to an island just makes the whole experience feel so much more like a holiday. Peaceful, warm cottage atmosphere. Lots of time for board games and making big kitchen dinners! Time at the beach and the water is epic! Can't recommend enough and we will definitely be going back.
