My family and I stayed at Jackson's Ridge the weekend of September 11-13. Booking was quite easy and the hosts Dwayne and Susan were a pleasure to deal with. They were very responsive with returning messages and were very helpful with all of our queries. The cottage itself was a show-stopper. Well appointed with every modern convenience. The hosts thought of everything guests may need or want during their stay. The area is beautiful and the people in town were quite friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was just the reset that we needed. I highly recommend.

There is something for everyone at Jackson's Ridge wonderful small towns to visit in the area with quit shops and wonderful restaurants, the near by lakes are great for fishing and boating and the hiking trails for all levels of enjoyment.

We stayed with friends on the May 1 weekend and had a lovely time. Hosts Susan and Dwayne are wonderful hosts and the chalet was immaculate and very well furnished. It is spacious comfortable and the log construction is cosy warm and beautiful. The setting is ideal, among rocks and trees and wildlife. Hard to imagine a better place for a get away.

The cottage is in a very tranquil and nature filled area with access to all the small surrounding towns with quaint shops, also lots of lakes close by for boating and fishing.

Glory

This place is the best of both worlds! The cabin has lots of space to spread out and entertain but still has a cozy atmosphere. The location is amazing, it feels secluded in nature so you can see deer and listen to birdsong, but it's only a short drive to the adorable town of Elgin and to a few boat locks which were really nice to visit! I would love to go back in the future!

This was my first time staying at Jackson's Ridge and all I have to say is what a beautiful property. The cabin was well maintained and it was a peaceful weekend getaway. I will definitely visit this place again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. The big windows allow for all the sunlight to come in and to get a beautiful view of all the nature around! (We even woke up to deer right out front!!) the outdoor firepit was amazing as well. Mr Jackson is great to contact and help with all our questions. This is definitely a place we would like to come back to! So glad we found this beautiful place.
