| We had a lovely week to end our summer vacation. The cottage was clean and well-maintained. It was stocked with all the pots, pans and dishes you need. The keurig coffee maker was great too! The river was great for swimming and we definitely enjoyed the foam mat, the stand up paddle board and the kayak. The kids were entertained all day - and we loved boat/people watching as others went by. We had a pontoon boat from a local rental company, and it moored nicely on the dock. It was great for exploring the river and doing some fishing (nothing biting, though).
It was a cooler week, so we were very happy to have the hot tub and fire pit. It was a great way to finish each day!
We stopped by the Bent Anchor for dinner and loved the food and atmosphere - it's a definite must when in the area. We also visited the Crooked Slide Park. It was nice to have some activities to do to further explore the area.

| Just what we needed! Beautiful quiet spot and nicely renovated cottage complete with AC, WIFI, dishwasher and prime tv. Easy drive from Hamilton. Cottage came with a dock perfect for docking our boat. Boat launch 5 mins away. The river was warm and sandy good for swimming. On the wknds there is a bit of boat traffic but didn't hinder the swimming too much. Husband enjoyed sitting on the dock people/boat watching :)
Gotta stop in at the Bent Anchor restaurant for a drink and finger foods. Great atmosphere! Transactions and communications with the host were smooth. We were with a group of adults so one thing that could be improved were beds, a bit small and squeaky. All in all great experience and would recommend.

| Wow! What a beautiful cottage and location. Lots of fun in the river with the kids. The cottage was beautiful and new. Lori was always available and a pleasure to have as a host. We recommend this cottage and we will be back. Thanks Lori, all the best

| We had a lovely time at this cottage. Very dog and child friendly. Our 3yo loved the trampoline, the shallow entry into the river, childrens toys and the bunk bed. It's a quiet location even though you are not far from the street and although you can see the neighbours on both side, we never heard them. The town is close by and has a few restaurants we visited, we also got ice cream from the general store a few times. We went white water rafting with Madawaska Kanu Centre (20min away) we did the family rafting and it was very gentle, perfect for our 3yo. There are some lovely nature trails in the area as well. The cottage has everything you need and the screen room for bug free nights was a big hit.
