| This review is very delayed - but the cottage is still a wonderful, vivid memory! My husband I and stayed at Jim's cottage late July / early August 2025 for a two week retreat. We loved everything about it: Queensborogh is a beautiful little town with a lovely mill at the entrance and a nice spot to go for a stroll. The grounds and paths surrounding the cottage are also nice for walking. The cottage itself had a really nice feel - rustic (in a good way!) and very clean and well appointed, lots of different spaces to hang out in inside and out. We spent a lot of time in the enclosed porch reading and crafting, and in the living room doing the same. BBQ, firepit and smoker for outdoor living. Loads of nice touches in terms of decor, reading materials, advice for the region, kitchen supplies, etc. There is no tv so bring a laptop / tablet if you want to watch movies - but this a perfect spot to unplug. We'll definitely be back!
