| My wife and I stayed for two weeks in July 2026. We both thought the cottage and property was perfect. Cottage was cozy and well-maintained. We cooked in and barbequed often, the kitchen was well equipped. We kayaked a lot which is one of our favourite activities. The swimming off the dock was great. There is no air conditioning but that was not a problem due, I think, due to the tree canopy. If you like the sounds of loons, you will not be disappointed! The lake area is nice and quiet, not a lot of motorboat noise. We like the Bancroft area and were able to spend lots of time there. I do think that the price is very reasonable.

| My family of 4 (myself, husband, 8 & 12 year old daughters) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was indeed very clean and spacious. The kitchen has everything you need, and there's a good selection of games, puzzles, and movies. The large U-shaped dock is perfect for swimming access, fishing, kayak launching, sun-bathing, reading and relaxing while enjoying the beautiful view. The view is also lovely from the cottage deck where we enjoyed our dinners at the outside dining table, and 2 lounge chairs. There is a lovely bonfire pit which we enjoyed a few nights. The weather was hot & humid during our stay, but the cottage stayed nice and cool with the fans provided as there are many mature trees to provide shade. You can always find a sunny or shady spot throughout the day based on your preference. It's conveniently located 15 minutes away from Bancroft which has some cute shops, Saturday morning Farmer's Market, a Tim's, Starbucks, and a few restaurants. Our hosts, Scott & Jodi, were wonderful. They are very welcoming, responsive, and helpful, while respecting your privacy. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

| We stayed at Holland cottage over the Canada Day long weekend week. Our group was three adults and two children ages eight and five. The cottage is exactly as described and pictured. It is immaculately clean. There is lots of room inside for hanging out and a collection of DVDs and games to keep you busy on rainy days, in addition to the satellite TV. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything that we needed. The lake is stunning. The cottage has a huge U-shaped dock so there's plenty of room for tanning and playing and fishing. The water is beautiful, little to no weeds at all the neighbors are far enough away that you feel privacy. Swimming out to the raft and jumping off was so fun! The kids enjoyed catching bass right off the dock and we made good use of the paddle boat, kayak and canoe. There are fans in every room which helped on the hotter days, but even without air conditioning, it was never difficult to sleep. We would 100% return to this beautiful property. Thanks so much for hosting us.
P.s. only tip would be to add in the posting that renters should bring their own toilet paper and paper towel as there was only one roll of each provided.

| VERY CLEAN indeed! Spotless, comfortable and well taken care of! Well stocked with kitchen supplies. I forgot to bring tinfoil and was pleased to find some there for my use. The board games and dvds were a nice touch for when we just wanted to hang out.
All the amenities (screened in gazebo, chairs in the dock, gas bbq) were in great condition and well situated.
The lake is crystal clear and great for swimming right off the dock. NO lake weeds so the kids were very comfortable playing in the water.
We also got to meet the owners who were super-nice. Excellent visit and I highly recommend it!

| This was one of the most beautiful cottages we have stayed in. Perfect for a family.
The cottage is beyond immaculate. The kitchen is fully stocked, satellite TV is provided for rainy days.
The cottage is on an inlet so it's really quiet for boat traffic, great for kayaking. Husband was catching bass right off the large dock. The gazebo was our favourite spot to sit at night with a few drinks.
The owners were very timely with all questions/concerns and we were happy to have met them while we were there. They are very friendly and kind.
I would highly recommend this cottage.
