| We cannot say enough about our stay at Kennesis Lake Escapes. This is the perfect cottage for any family.
The cottage itself was beautiful. Everything was so clean and all the amenities were up to date and working. Any information or instructions you needed were found in a binder on the kitchen counter. We were greeted with a lovely welcome package!
The property was something out of a movie. The back deck and waterfront were stunning. We have never stayed at a cottage that had its own well-groomed beach. The beach area had a gradual walk in area. The dock was amazing. The water was very clear and there was not one weed or under water vegetation to be seen. The dock is 12 feet deep so our daughter could safely jump or dive at all times.
There was a fantastic selection of water toys to use. There was a paddle board, kayak and canoe available right at the beach. Once again everything was in great working order.
The location could not be in a better place. The road leading into the cottage was in fantastic shape. There was a general store with an LCBO and a cottage life store located 20 minutes away. Other than gas there was everything you needed at these locations.
This was by far the nicest cottage we have stayed at while on vacation. The owners were fantastic at getting back to us while we were booking and when we had a question.
We will always have fond memories of our stay with Kennesis Lake Escapes.

| We felt the cottage was well equipped, perfect decor for a clean, cottage feel. The large deck was so great for eating our meals and lounging and perfect for if we needed the dog to be kept outside in a nice safe space. The Muskoka room was a lovely spot to sit and the kitchen and living room had a wonderful atmosphere where we gathered as a family. The outdoor area we felt was the absolute best!!! Campfire in a perfect location and the little beach and the dock are very suitable for children. In our opinion you have done a super job with your cottage Kathy and Kevin at Kennislakescapes, and we would definitely recommend it.

| The Lake House did not disappoint us. It's a beautiful,large cottage that supplied everything needed to have a fantastic vacation.Big enough for our large family of 7adults and 1child. The small beach area was a bonus that my 2year old granddaughter enjoyed immensely! Would highly recommend this cottage for everyone looking to make beautiful long lasting memories!The Farias's

| We had the most amazing week at The Lake House. We were a family of 4 adults (2 adults, 2 grandparents) and 3 kids. The house is spacious with 1 large bedroom in the loft and the other on the main floor close to the 3rd bedroom - this is perfect for 2 families giving everyone enough privacy and space. The bathroom is beatiful and recently renovated. There are numerous spots to relax and enjoy the magnificent views - on the patio, at the firepit, in the lounge, the muskoka room, the deck and the lake - every angle is breath taking! The lake is perfect for young and older kids with a shallow entry point and mini beach. Everything is exactly as described and in the pictures. We sat at the firepit every night, watching the sunset and we enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, SUP and splashing in the lake. There was more than enough to keep us busy with and we only went to Haliburton once. On a rainy day, there are games and puzzles to keep the family entertained. The house is private and surrounded by massive trees. We will definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for the perfect break.
