| For our group of 3 adults and 2 children this cottage provided an absolute dream of a fall getaway.
Coming from Toronto area it was very easy to get to. We arrived after dark and the owners kindly left lights on to guide our arrival. The second we opened the door we knew we were somewhere special. Absolute coziness and charm.
The main building of the cottage is where we spent most of our time, dividing it between sitting in front of the wood stove enjoying its warmth, and sitting in the lake facing living room admiring the stunning view. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could need. The espresso station was a delightful bonus.
The master bedroom is stunning and the bunk bed room was great for the kids. The use of the bunkies took our stay to the next level. Basically 2 extra mini cottages is what you are getting. Each bed was incredibly comfortable. Waking up and sitting up and seeing the lake directly in front of you. Incredible.
We enjoyed the canoes out on the water to get some more views of the amazing fall colours. There are neighbouring cottages but all was quiet and peaceful.
We had our dog with us and we appreciated the dog bowls and towels provided for his feet. We had some great walks with him by taking either direction of the road the cottage is on.
It was a perfect weekend and there was nothing more we could ask for.
