| Wow, how do I put into words how amazing this little slice of paradise is. Upon arrival, I knew it would be an amazing week and the place was so much more spectacular than any photo could show!
The property itself is very spacious, the beach/swimming area is absolutely fantastic, huge and sandy. The fire pit right by the water was another great touch. The stream that is next to the property was relaxing and my kids loved searching for frogs and crawfish.
My son enjoyed fishing off the dock daily, and my kids aged 9 and 5 could comfortably walk up to their waist at the end of the dock, perfect. For a huge lake, there wasn't much boat traffic at all and the water was super warm.
The inside of the cottage was meticulously maintained and had absolutely everything we needed and more from supplies, to books and games. The two bathrooms was a huge bonus!
The owners were also beyond fantastic to communicate with and answered any questions I had.
I would highly recommend this place to absolutely anyone and I look forward to renting again in the future. We took a day trip up to Splash Valley and it was also a great way to spend the day and is very close.
I have rented cottages for 8 years now and this is by far the best place I have ever stayed at, hands down! Consider the Dobbie cottage for your next vacation, you won't be disappointed!!

| Our family of 4 had an amazing time here at this beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed and wanted and had the most beautiful sunsets every night!
Would recommend staying here to anyone.

| This cottage is everything the pictures show, and more. From the loft bedroom, to the comfortable living room to the sandy walk in beach, we had a perfect vacation here. Our boys loved catching frogs in the little stream, and we loved the wrap around porch for our morning coffee. Owners are very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect peaceful escape.

| This cottage is beautiful inside and out! It was so peaceful and relaxing it was hard to leave at the end of our stay. The views are amazing especially those sunsets. It has absolutely everything you need and things you didn't think you would need - lol! Close proximity to Renfrew and Pembroke and only an hour away from Ottawa for a day trip. The owners are so friendly and easy to get a hold of if problems arise or you have questions. Our family had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back! Highly recommend you check out this slice of heaven!

| We had an amazing stay here with our family of 4! Beautiful views over the lake and our kids had a blast playing on the beach and looking for frogs in the creek that runs through the property. The canoe was great and there were life jackets to fit everyone! Scott and Cheryl were awesome to sort logistics out and be a point of contact if needed with really quick and kind responses. Super nice fire pit too, but we were all tuckered out every night to take advantage of it. Would definitely stay again.
