| Very beautiful and clean.
They provided a lot of cookware, dinner ware, BBQ equipment and accessories, which made our dinning experience so easy and enjoyable.
They also provided paddle boat, canoe and kayak, our kids had so much fun on water.

| We were a family of 4 on summer holidays - 2 teens and 2 adults. We all had a great time! It was very relaxing to sit on the upper deck in the morning with tea, a book and the sounds of birds, chipmunks and squirrels. We saw and/or heard the calls of a good variety of birds and were visited by a variety of wildlife at the property including: wild turkey, groundhog, Canadian geese, chipmunk, red squirrel, 3 kinds of snakes (very shy and kept to the water's edge), fish, crayfish, frogs and a variety of birds. The loons calling across the lake were especially wonderful! The kayaking and canoeing around the lake was amazing.. there are many islands to go in and around, and there are areas with completely wild shorelines. On our boat rides we saw some of the same wildlife as at the cottage with the addition of turtles. The house was well equipped and spacious.. the air hockey table was especially liked by our teens.

| The booking process went very smoothly, and the owner was extremely professional. The cottage was exactly as described and the photos were spot on. A very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this cottage.

| This cottage was a nice find. It is in a great location for touring around the Kawartha Lakes region and Talbot Lake is small but beautiful with lots of wetlands to explore. The Lake is generally shallow but a canoe / kayak can easily reach all of the shores and it is fun to weave around the islands. We were treated to a good assortment of animals and very much enjoyed the loons. The skies are also dark enough to enjoy some excellent astronomy. Just sitting on the dock at night with or without binoculars was such a welcome reprieve from the lights of Toronto.
When we arrived we met our hosts, Holly and her husband, who are very responsive and had the cabin ready for us. We will definitely consider coming to stay again.
