| My friends and I rented this cottage for a girl's week ? a tradition we've had for many years, and we've always rented different cottages for it. That being said, we may have to break tradition and come back to Jodie's place because it was easily one of the best experiences we've ever had! The cottage is so spacious and well appointed. Jodie has thought of everything you might need and more. We love to cook and the kitchen made it so easy, it's perfect for having multiple people working at a time. The swimming is fantastic ? the dock is very spacious for tanning/relaxing and the lake is clear and beautiful. We had a couple rainy days but it was no problem as we were able to still enjoy the elements by hanging out in the screened in porch. Our week was so relaxing we didn't want to leave. Jodie is also extremely easy to deal with and I had no issues receiving prompt answers to any questions or concerns I had. Overall everything was great!

| We had a wonderful vacation at Jodie's pet friendly cottage! The fully stocked cottage was absolutely beautiful, spacious and very clean. The very large and private doc accommodated the humans and the pooches very nicely.
An amazing retreat away from home without having to travel too far.
Highly recommended!!

| We have rented Jodie's cottage in August, two summers in a row. It's a wonderful cottage; quiet, beautifully furnished and spacious--a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the Gatineau Hills. Heney Lake is a lovely lake for swimming, kayaking and canoeing and we appreciated that there is a canoe and kayak for the guests use. We have great memories and are sorry that the cottage is already fully booked for July and August 2016.

| My husband and I spent an absolutely magical week at Jodie's cottage. The lake is beautiful, and was quite quiet the week we were there. It is wonderful for swimming and just relaxing on the dock. The cottage itself is beautifully appointed -- very gracious, scrupulously clean, roomy and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed. The cottage is well set up for all kinds of weather -- lots of comfortable seating both inside and outside, tables for eating inside and out, and a screened-in sunroom where you could feel you were outside even as you were protected from the weather inside. The cottage is very bright, with many views of the lake. The bedrooms are lovely, with space for a number of guests. We felt at home!
Jodie was a joy to rent from, including being readily available for questions while we were at the cottage. We absolutely intend to return. We had quite simply a wonderful week here.
