| My family and I had a wonderful time at 1137 Turtle Lake Road, Sigrid and Mike couldn't have been better hosts. The cottage was immaculate, had everything and more than we needed. Definitely booking again for next year!!!!!
If you are looking for a cottage to rent on a quiet lake in Muskoka this is the one!!!!!
It's a 5 star.....

| My group and I stayed at Sigrid and Mike's cottage in mid October. Sigrid was very responsive and provided lots of useful information before our stay. The cottage was beautiful, clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The views from the main area and hot tub were priceless. The leaves were beginning to change and the scenery was gorgeous. The area was very quiet, walks around the cottage were lovely and the locals were friendly. We were incredibly happy with our stay and highly recommend this beautiful cottage. Just watch out for the cute turtle-shaped footrest, it likes to stub toes!

| Just returned from another great 9 day stay at Turtle Lake. It's the 2nd year my friend and I have rented this lovely cottage from Sigrid and Mike. The reviews are an indication of what a great property this is. Large and spacious enough for families or friends get-aways. The hosts are fantastic communicators and respond very quickly during the booking process.
Lots to do - kayaking, lounging dockside, hot tub, nature walks, etc?..There is something here for everyone. Enjoy!!

| We stayed in late August 2021. This cottage is spacious and beautiful. The open living room area with large windows facing the lake was perfect for family time playing boardgames. We spent most of our time outside swimming in Turtle Lake, relaxing in the hot tub or sitting by the fire overlooking the lake. The lake was perfect for swimming. This lake is very quiet and a perfect size. We used the kayaks several times during the week. We did investigate Loon lake as well but Turtle lake is more peaceful. The kitchen off the living room area was a very good size and well equipped. There wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't there. The bedrooms all had very comfortable beds and beautiful linen. Every room was spotless. The cottage is almost at the end of the road so it's quite secluded. The downstairs area was nice for everyone to spread out and the extra bathroom on this level was a bonus.
Sigrid and Mike are very receptive hosts who obviously want to make sure your stay there is special.
We would most definitely like to return to this cottage in the winter or next summer. It had everything we needed, including friendly hosts, a beautiful lake and quiet surroundings.

| We just returned from our one week vacation at this cottage on Turtle Lake. We were two families, with 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 3-11). Leading up to the trip Sigrid and Mike were so easy to communicate with and provided a helpful list to guide packing.
It was our first time renting a cottage, having had one in our family growing up, and we really weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised upon arriving to the cottage. It was left spotless for our arrival. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with almost anything you could possibly need. The set up was perfect for having the "big kids" sleep in the basement and the adults in the bedrooms. The beds were all very comfortable, with nice linens and towels provided.
The property was beautifully landscaped. The lake was absolutely perfect, with no weeds in sight. The kids had a blast on the floating mats. Fishing was also a highlight with endless sunfish to be caught. The kayaks and paddle boats were fun to take out for a little trip along the lake. The location was great, making easy trips into town for more food/drinks or even to take a break from cooking and eat out (or get emergency tire repairs done)!
