Cottage on the largest, most beautiful lake in Haliburton - Kawagama Lake
People know this lake for its pristine, clear water, which enters the lake from the top of the watershed. You'll escape to 825 feet of private lakefront on a 2 acre, partially-wooded cottage property. All this along with a beautiful hard-packed sandy beach. A very private and restorative environment. Just heaven for kids.
Families cottaging here return to 'Abideawhile' year after year.
One family from Elora wrote in their first summer:
"What an amazing experience!! Our family will cherish the memories of this week for the rest of their lives. Thank you for allowing us into your home and introducing us to this most magical location."

Enjoy an evening camp-fire at the fire pit with lots of seating & dry firewood. The planets and hundreds of stars in the night sky, all amazingly visible.
The cottage property is predominantly level with several look-outs, charming wooded pathways and various sitting and spots with hammocks. lake breezes and beautiful, long lake views.
