Located just two hours north of Toronto, this beautiful LAKE MUSKOKA cottage is situated in a PRIME, central location in the HEART OF MUSKOKA. The property is positioned directly between Bala and Port Carling, both of which can be reached by car or by boat! It's convenient location provides you with easy BOAT ACCESS TO "THE BIG 3" LAKES. Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau and Lake Joseph! You can rent or bring your own boat/ Sea-Doo, as there is outdoor dock space provided to you for parking.
The property boasts an OUTSTANDING OPEN VIEW of LAKE MUSKOKA. The newly installed GLASS RAILING provides you with uninterrupted views of the lake, creating the illusion that you are floating on top of the water. The cottage is only 30 feet from the water's edge, and is SOUTH FACING for ALL DAY SUN. The property also has plenty of mature trees that provide ample shade to those who seek it. The location of the cottage affords renters with both privacy and minimal boat traffic, so you can enjoy your vacation in peace.
The COTTAGE is a classic-style, open concept, easy access BUNGALOW. It is very inviting, with a cozy and comfortable ambiance, finished in a warm pine interior. New hardwood floors throughout. The main living area features a cathedral ceiling, complete with a ceiling fan. The large lake-facing windows provide ample natural light throughout the space as well as an unmatchable view from the kitchen, dining area, family room and master bedroom. The sliding glass doors open across the front of the dining area and in the living room and when the doors are open, the sound of the water is audible most of the time, a wonderfully calming and soothing feature to enjoy.
The well appointed OPEN CONCEPT KITCHEN, provides virtually everything you need to create and serve the most wonderful of meals. We also offer a choice of coffee makers: Nespresso Vertuo, Nespresso Original, Tassimo, auto-drip coffee maker and French press. The stove has a four-burner glass top, and the oven has a convection option. There is also a new microwave and a new dishwasher. There is a WHOLE HOUSE UV WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM, in addition all sinks are equipped with new REVERSE-OSMOSIS FILTERED WATER system/spigots for safe drinking water. There is also an EXTRA FULL-SIZE FRIDGE in the basement available for use.
The OPEN CONCEPT DINING area has a solid wood dining set with seating for six.
The OPEN CONCEPT FAMILY ROOM is furnished with a large, comfortable couch, a reclining chair, and two additional comfy chairs with ottomans. All furniture faces towards a gorgeous, floor-to-ceiling, stone, WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACE, the true centerpiece of the room. The family room also features a new 55" 4K TV with Bell Express View, Netflix, Amazon Prime & Disney Plus. There is also a new surround sound JBL SOUNDBAR system that connects to both the TV and WIFI, so that you can maximize your TV-watching experience, or simply connect and listen to your favorite music from your iPhone or Android device. The soundbar also has built-in Alexa and Google Home. One new portable SONOS rechargeable speaker is also provided for use during your stay, which can be carried around the property to listen to music as you go. The speaker provides ten hours of play time per charge and is water and shockproof. Many popular family board games are also provided.
The MASTER BEDROOM has a king bed and a two-piece ensuite bathroom. It has a clear and expansive view of Lake Muskoka. With the windows open, the sound of the water is almost always audible; it is incredibly serene. The room also features a new 43" 4K TV which is equipped with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney Plus.
The SECOND BEDROOM has a queen bed, ceiling fan, and a new TV suitable for online gaming, as well as watching Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney Plus.
The THIRD BEDROOM has a bunk bed with a double mattress on the bottom and a single mattress on the top, as well as a ceiling fan.
ALL of the bedrooms mattresses and pillows are covered with breathable, waterproof protectors.
The BATHROOM is a three-piece with tub/shower. Included in this space is a stackable WASHER & DRYER. An ironing board, iron, and a drying rack are also provided. There is also an outdoor umbrella drying rack available for use.
The lake-facing balcony is one of the cottage's most incredible features. The view is simply unmatched. Four Muskoka Chairs sit on the balcony overlooking Lake Muskoka; a perfect place to drink your morning coffee. There is a new WEBER BBQ hooked up to unlimited propane. There is plenty of outdoor PATIO FURNITURE, including a table and umbrella with seating for six on the upper deck of the cottage, as well as an additional table, umbrella and seating for four on the dock.
There is a 12 x 10 GAZEBO located on the dock with a Leisure Design outdoor sectional couch and glass top coffee table. You have easy, walk-in entry to the water from the dock, with steps and a hand railing leading into the lake right next to the dock along the shore. At the end of the dock, there is an additional swim ladder and dock lighting.
If you enjoy time by the lake, you will be overjoyed to indulge yourself in the plentiful amount of water sport equipment. This includes a Pelican PEDAL BOAT, two Pelican Flow 10.6 STAND-UP PADDLE BOARDS, two Clear Water Design KAYAKS, and swim noodles. The property also boasts a new 15 foot RAVE WATER TRAMPOLINE with an AQUA LOG and AQUA LAUNCH. Oversized luxury swim towels are also provided. OUTDOOR LAWN GAMES: a wooden 5 foot Giant Jenga and custom built wooden Cornhole Toss set.
In the evenings, you can enjoy a LAKESIDE CAMPFIRE. There are six Muskoka Chairs which surround the steel fire pit. The unobstructed view of the night sky is breathtaking. FIREWOOD is provided.
A few other building/property features of note: The entire building boasts new CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING. Should the power go out, the entire cottage is connected to a new GENERAC automatic BACKUP GENERATOR. UNLIMITED HIGH-SPEED INTERNET is included and surrounds the complete grounds of the property allowing you to work, watch Netflix, or surf the web from anywhere you please without limitations! The driveway accommodates parking for up to four vehicles. There is a secure bin for weekly GARBAGE/RECYCLING collection located near the road. Both the cottage and the property are meticulously cared for and maintained with special attention to detail.
The cottage is located less than 10 minutes from Bala, the 'Cranberry Capital of Ontario'. This quaint little town is home to Don's Bakery a local favourite, Johnston's Cranberry Marsh & Winery, a grocery store, an LCBO, plenty of local gift shops, and numerous small local eateries. You can golf at Muskoka Bay Club or Lake Joe Club, both of which are less than 15 minutes by car. Torrance Barrens Nature Preserve is also nearby, and is a lovely visit. A 10-minute drive in the other direction will take you to Port Carling, where you can find an even larger grocery store, another LCBO, more quaint gift shops, and plenty of amazing restaurants. Here, you can enjoy lakeside meals at Turtle Jacks Muskoka Grill, and so much more! Another highlight in the region are the self-guided annual Spring and Fall Art Studio Tours.

| The property was wonderful and the host was very responsive to every detail. We really appreciated that the property set up was very easy to use and enjoy. Good bbq, fire pit, access to water, access to areas with sun and areas with sun protection. Also, It was very clean.

| Truly an outstanding property! We loved every minute of our stay here. The all day sun views are outstanding, and the bay is private and generally very quiet. The cottage itself is in great condition, and kept immaculately - great thought and care is put into every detail, ensuring a fantastic experience. There is no shortage of fun activities do to on site, which kept our whole family entertained every minute! The kids loved all of the water activities during the day, and the amazing fire pit at night. Kristine is absolutely wonderful and we could not have asked for anything more!
