Our 3-season cottage is located in the heart of the Whitewater region on the scenic Ottawa River with amazing views and breathtaking sunsets. Excellent swimming, fishing and boating with endless waterways to explore. Only 1.5 hrs west of Ottawa you will find your own personal paradise on a quiet road with only a few other cottages. 100ft sandy beach front with shallow entry, perfect for the little ones. Sleeps up to 8 very comfortably, perfect for a large family or two small families to share. Main cottage has renovated kitchen and bathroom. Two bedrooms- Master bedroom has a queen size bed. - second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Full washroom with tub/ shower. Living room is equipped with a gas fireplace and portable A/C unit. Laundry room addition includes 2 piece washroom and second fridge.
Sleep cabin has 2 queen beds, dressers, TV, electric fireplace and air conditioning.
Entertainment - Smart TV with WIFI, equipped with Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime and other streaming channels for those rainy days or movie nights on the couch. A selection of board games and movies also available.
Canoe, horseshoes, Bocce ball, sand toys, 2 small kids kayaks and 2 adult kayaks provided for your enjoyment with a small selection of life jackets. BBQ, propane and firewood included. Main cottage is serviced by a drilled well and septic system.
Week rentals run from Saturday to Saturday (Check-in 4 pm, Check-out 11 am)

| Our family spent a wonderful week at the cottage. Can't say enough about how smoothly it went and how well the cottage was equipped. Exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, beautiful deck to watch amazing sunsets. Could not ask for better. Shane was a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating and always available to answer all our questions. Lots of beach toys and water craft. The kids had a ball on the swim mat! Overall, a great week?just not long enough!

| Shane and his family have thought of every single detail when it comes to making your stay at the Whitewater Retreat both comfortable and memory filled. From the extra PFDs in multiple sizes to the water shoes, multiple fun beach games, children's toys, beautiful fire pit and lounging chairs. The list goes on but I would hit the character limit. Each year little touches are added that somehow make the stay that much better. Our family has made wonderful memories over the last couple years at the cottage and look forward to making more in the future. The Whitewater Retreat has something for everyone, and the sunsets are unbeatable. The sand beach is top notch and very kid friendly. (Our 3.5 year old son loves it) Making the 7 hour car trip from the Niagara Region is more then worth it. Thanks to the Hoad family for opening up their beautiful cottage for others to enjoy.

| We enjoyed a fabulous week renting at the Whitewater Region Cottage Retreat! The cottage and property were perfect, and the beach/water area were amazing! The sunsets also took our breath away! The owner was excellent to deal with, and the cottage was in perfect rental condition when we moved in for the week. A wonderful getaway!

| Ken and I, and our little dog, just got home from a wonderful stay. The cottage was perfectly equipped - we often looked at each other and said "they have thought of everything". All kitchen equipment you will need, hooks on the back of doors for clothing or towels, kayaks, a canoe, a firepit, marshmallow roasting sticks, an outdoor tap to rinse off muddy feet (or paws), room to store your supplies / clothing, and comfy beds and couches. We watched Hamilton one night - a perfect activity for a cool rainy night (and we don't have the Disney channel at home!). We would love to come back. Thank-you Hoad family for sharing your lovely cottage with us. XXOO

| A comfortable and well equipped cottage with spectacular views, an outstanding deck with great seating and pet friendly too! The fireplace adds a lovely touch and warms you up on those cool evenings. The owner of the cottage is friendly and responsive. Couldn't ask for anything more. Already booked for next year.
