Just came back from a labour day long weekend at the North Shore Cottage and it was really great! We were a big group and I was more than satisfied with everything. Fully equipped, clean and plenty of room. Lake was beautiful and clear. Swimming and kayaking was fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this cottage to anyone. Thanks !

We had an incredible stay (despite cold/rainy weather). We had 6 adults, a three year old and an infant. One thing that we loved about the set up of the cottage is that the three bedrooms are at one end of the cottage, with a door between that wing and the kitchen/living room. At the opposite end, there is another wing with a livingroom/office and bathroom which also has a solid door. This allowed us to set up the office area as a playroom and keep all of the kid noise contained so that our friends could enjoy a sleep in during their vacation.

The inside of the cottage was well equipped with fresh folded towels in each room, lots of pots and pans and cooking equipment, etc. It was also very clean and stocked with lots of movies, books and board games.

The beach area is a bit rocky but there was lots of sand and our three year old spent hours playing in the sand, running into the water and looking for creatures. The water gets deep off the dock which the adults loved. The bottom of the deeper part is squishy so in hind site I would have brought water shoes.

We enjoyed the Kayaks and Canoe every day and were very thankful to have access to them. We also really appreciated the quiet. There are cottages to the right but nothing the other way. The fire pit was fantastic and our baby monitor signal reached from the master so we were able to enjoy it without worry. We also loved the variety of outdoor seating.

Larry was so helpful and very responsive.

I came to this cottage with 5 children, 2 seniors and myself. Upon arriving I was immediately taken aback by the beautiful smells, sounds and sights. The water is so clear and clean. The cottage and it's surroundings are nothing less than spectacular. It is pristine. My favorite spit for coffee, is at the end of the dock, watching the loons. My children enjoyed catching frogs and fish and swimming as well as kayaking and going out into the water. My family enjoyed ourselves so much, my children are already asking to come back. I would recommend everyone to go. The owner is kind and reachable and very helpful. All I can say is thank you however that does not seem enough.

This property is the definition of amazing. The cottage itself is set up with everything you need and more (games, dvds, blankets, candles, shampoo, body wash - everything!). We had such a lovely stay and truly did not want to leave. Thank you for such a great family trip, we cannot wait to come back to this slice of heaven.

Owner response:
Thanks for the kind words Jasmine, your group was great...even if we did lock you out! Winters are amazing, let us know we would love to have you back.

This was an absolutely beautiful cottage with scenery and an exquisite view like no other.

Located at the end of the road access, this cottage was strategically placed to frame the most amazing views throughout the day while maintaining the highest degree of privacy as well as provide an extremely useful piece of land, which is rare considering its proximity to the water. It is the only cottage on the north shore and makes incredible use of its unusually large frontage, including a floating dock with seating, a sunken fire pit, other seating areas, a loading area and enough flat terrain to provide an opportunity for may activities, which all seem to maintain the same level of privacy and outstanding views.

The cottage itself features many original features including exposed beams, natural fireplace and oversized windows while also showing signs of some recent updates to enhance the experience not hinder the natural features. Due to the well planned variety of spaces, there is enough space that allows comfort for at least 1o people without feeling lost in the space with 2-4.

The amenities are convenient, the hospitality displayed by the owner is second to none and the booking/screening process was made so easy for our party.

This cottage is by far the best we have stayed at to date. The only problem seems to be that my children and the other guests are already asking when we can return to their new favourite vacation oasis! Let's just say, we will be back.
