This beautiful, privately owned lakefront cottage is the perfect year round getaway for you and your family! The Dusty Rose Cottage boasts a lovely treed lot, large deck, sunroom, and all the amenities you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. This gorgeous nature escape is located in Netley Creek; just 25 minutes from the North Perimeter of Winnipeg.

Location Details:
- Access to Lake Winnipeg, Red River, and other waterways by boat/snowmobile
- Backs onto the safe and picturesque Netley Creek
- Private Sandy Beachfront with gradual drop off into the water

Waterfowl Hunting in the Netley Marsh:
- Mallards, Pintails, wood ducks, redheads, gadwalls, bluebills, canvasbacks, widgeons, and many varieties of smaller ducks.

My family of 6 (all adults) just stayed at The Dusty Rose for 5 days and it was spectacular. We arrived to find the cottage was far nicer than the pictures and with vaulted ceilings felt much larger than it was. We had 6 adults so 2 slept in the Master suite, 2 in the double bed (very comfortably) and 2 took the mattresses off the bunk beds and slept in the main living area although they could have slept on the hide-a-bed. There was plenty of space and no one felt as though they were on top of each other.
We spent plenty of time fishing and swimming right out front of the cabin. The fishing wasn't super at the lake front itself however it was only a short drive to Lockport the top fishing destination in Manitoba! The water came up one evening at the cabin as there was a north wind over Lake Winnipeg so it came up to the little stairs but went back down by morning.

I highly recommend taking the 20min drive to Gimli which has the largest Icelandic population outside of Iceland. There is a fantastic museum and you can walk along the pier out into Lake Winnipeg and see local art along the water breaking wall.
We also went into Selkirk, 15 mins away which had every store you could need from Walmart to Canadian Tire, Safeway to a local bakery. There was also a self-guided tour you could take which took you by 20 historical sites within the city.
We will be coming back to The Dusty Rose and highly recommend it as a little home away from home. Excellent Rental
