Please note: In July and August, this cottage RENTS BY THE WEEK ONLY - absolutely no exceptions. Sandpiper Cottage is a 3-season, quaint and cozy, classic, rustic Canadian cottage with a relaxed and casual feel. The compact kitchen offers full-size fridge, stove and microwave. The main part of the cottage has a two-piece bathroom (toilet and sink) and the bunkie offers a shower room (shower only) and small three-piece bathroom (shower, toilet, sink). For evenings there's a large screen TV, satellite TV and WiFi so your family evenings will be relaxing and enjoyable. There's also a secondary lounge area - a "snug" - great for getting away from the noisy bunch in the main living room or the TV to read, have a conversation or play board games. Main cottage has 2 bedrooms - one with single bunkbeds and one with a queen bed. The Bunkie also has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single over double bunkbed and single bed. | Absolutely LOVE this cottage. Stayed here with my family and would love to stay again next summer. The scenery is gorgeous, the home is so cozy. There is ample seating all round the cottage, a great little den in the back, a living room, and a fire pit out front and down below on the beach providing multiple places to gather and enjoy each other's company. The beach is great for "treasure" hunting and the water was very refreshing. Some days we had big waves to splash around in and other days we had still water to relax and enjoy (water shoes are helpful for getting into the water). There are 2 town squares close by for some shopping/eating on rainy days. The water is nice and hot for showers and the bunkie allowed for quiet time apart. There's ample room for fetch in the front yard. The beds are comfy. I could go on. We are completely satisfied with our stay here. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us! Looking forward to another stay at Sandpiper Cottage!

| We were 2 families who spent a great week at Sandpiper Cottage earlier in August. From the quaint cottage and bunkie, to the great quiet (and very private) beach everything was wonderful. The kitchen offers lots of storage for the food we brought for 8 of us. It was convenient to have a groceries and liquor store less than 10 min. away to restock during the week.
The 3 girls enjoyed the large back bedroom - their own little hang out. The extra sitting room was turned into a games room for the kids, making the evenings watching the sunsets for the adults that much more peaceful.
The beach was beautiful - lots of beautiful rocks. A few wavy days made it lots of fun for boogie boarding. It felt almost 100% private, only other people on the beach were those renting the neighboring cottage - we made friends with them so it was a nice bonus.
One small draw back was that pictures show a large fridge in the "shower room" - that wasn't there anymore - so the fridge was stack like a tetris game, but we managed. The double bed in the bunkie seems to be slanting as well - so not as comfortable.
Otherwise, very well maintained and cleaned cottage. The breeze kept us cooler after the warm days. We would go back another year if our cottage rental take us back to that area.

This summer - just before your arrival - it was replaced by a new, full-size hot water heater instead! Will check on the double bed in the bunkie for repair/replace action.
